As I calmed myself down so I don't accidentally kill this mongrel in my rage. I was interrupted as the pathetic wannabe Mongrel decided the comments beforehand wasn't enough, and spoke something which truly infuriated me to my core.
???: Um, Mr? are you secretly a cow?
.... On second thought, He doesn't need to be in one piece. Just alive for a few hours.
In response to the boy's insult, I subconsciously formed one of my golden gate's positioned behind the child's head without him knowing and prepared to fire one of my more worthless treasures into his skul-
NO! No no no, Gilgamesh. Your better then this, Your better then this! This isn't something you'd do. Such an act fits more with the damned mongrels here. At least wait till he ages up a bit BEFORE tearing apart his disrespectful heap of a body-
???: wait, why does the wild cow also feel like a river?
... Eh?
Gilgamesh: ... a river?
???: Yeah! It ain't as much of a feeling as the cow, but it's there. Oh, along with clouds, grass, and a bunch of other stuff!
After what felt like hours as I contemplated the boy's words, I finally came to understood once the part over 'wild cows' went through my mind....
In that moment of realization, I cursed my time in this Era for making me so blind to what would've been similar to "Are you related to your mother?"
Gilgamesh: To think my hatred of this Sewer of a civilization drained me to the point I didn't Realize this child meant he saw my mother in me? That bastard was right, this century drained my Mind.
???: ..... U-Um. You didn't answer.
Right as I was about to delve deeper in my disappointment over daring to stoop near to this century's level over my time here. I was brought out of it as I remembered the child of Mongrels I previously attempted to murder still looking to me through the small gap of the door.
Before I respond to him, I made sure to fully calm myself for half a minute Before attempting to speck to the young magician hiding before me.
Gilgamesh: excuse me?
???: You didn't answer, Mr.... Are you a Wild Cow? Plus some other stuff?
Gilgamesh: By blood? No. By Classification? Yes, somewhat.
In response to my answer at last, the small mongrel slid open the door he was hiding behind enough to peak his head through.
???: How does that work?
Gilgamesh: I'll possibly be bothered to answer that and more, If you do something for me in return.
???: But... mom and dad says to never go anywhere with strangers.
Gilgamesh: Which you should with no exception. But I'm not a stranger. I'm your King! And as your king, I'm asking for your Help with a task which only you can accomplish.
For what felt like an hour, I waited for the child's response to my request as he seemingly thought over it from behind his door. Once he finally came to a decision, He slid open the door then quickly closed it behind him, before taking a few steps towards me.
???: ... Shirou.
Gilgamesh: Hah! a fitting name for a child such as yourself.
