Shirou: Ok, I'll try.
With that out of the way. I tore my sight away from the Mongrel who walked beside me and began to scan the nearby area as we made our approach to the church.
Midway through our silent Stroll. I was reminded how needlessly far The distance between key points in this city were with every step I took which barley closed the hour long walk gap to Kirei.
Gilgamesh: (If only this boy done as I asked from the beginning. We'd already have been there! I could teleport us right to the entrance now. But if I do so currently then I'd be giving up on my decision halfway! .... Though it's only a few minutes away, so I'm sure It wouldn't mean anything if I teleport us- NO! That's this Era's influence over you talking. Your walking all the way there and that's final! Don't give in, Don't give in!)
As I was in the middle of mentally screaming for something to bother myself with long enough till we reached the godforsaken church. I was thankfully saved in the form of a question from the small mongrel of nothing beside me.
Shirou: ..... By the way, why do keep calling me a 'Mongrel'?
Gilgamesh: (oh thank me) Cause your apart of this disgrace of an era filled with Disappointments.
Shirou: Alright, well... why is this Era a Disappointment to you?
Gilgamesh: why shouldn't it?
Shirou: well theres planes, ... the moon landing, and some other stuff I don't know of.
Gilgamesh: While that's impressive. Does someone's accomplishment overshadow all the Idiocy they committed weekly?
Shirou: ... I... don't understand the question.
Gilgamesh: Let's say Hypothetically the scientists who worked, and done the most during the Moon landing did some terrible things before, then after the landing. They beat the homeless, Molested there colleagues, Burnt down homes, and even ruined Peoples lives... for no good reason. After all of that, would you still praise them for the Moon landing, or hate them for there repeated crimes?
Hearing the boy audibly be left speechless over my question, I continued on before he could think of an answer
Gilgamesh: Before you waste both our time, yes I know I'm not one to talk. But unlike me who had the privilege of doing so, they did it for the most ludicrous of reasons! "All the homeless do is stink up the streets so they're better off dead", "If they didn't wanna get feel'd up, they shouldn't be so Hot", "That jackass said the color black!", "That drawing of a woman with uncovered hands is so revealing!"
Gilgamesh: That's why I despise this dump of a era so vigorously. While it's within human nature to hate one another over the simplest of things. It disgusts me to no end to see the humanity I once ruled over and even saw fit to observe, be reduced to the mindlessly hate one another pieces of garbage who finds something new to pointlessly rant at daily.
Once I felt I spoke enough of the most recent reason why I hate this age so Vigorously. I stayed silent for a few steps, till I noticed they weren't followed by the steps of the child magician. Wondering why he stopped following me, I turned around to find him standing a few couple feet away just staring at me while deep in thought.
Gilgamesh: what's the matter? You can't bother to walk anymore when we're so close?
Shirou: ... well your not wrong.
