During campaign one
You met threw Marisha. Critical role was doing a friend night, one member of the cast brought one close friend in. And Marisha chose you, you were nervous being live in front of an audience, plus's you never played DND before so it did not help the nerves. You then sat next to a man you now knew named Taliesin. You gave him a small wave, he smiled and waved back. Shortly after they started recording Matt introduced you. A few moments later they game began, you laughed several times along the cast due to grog and scanlan. And or Percival absolutely destroying people ego. After 4 hours the game ended you stayed after to help with the clean up, and thanked everyone for the fun night. "Taliesin thank you for helping me today." Reference to how your brain shut off, and math was impossible for a few moments. While gathering his dice and everything he responds "no need to thank me we have all been there" he then looks at you "I'm glad Marisha picked you for the game it was a blast." And gave you a hug goodbye. Then you both parted ways you later sent Marisha a text telling her thank you for the invite.
