A female with long light blue hair that slowly darkens at the tip and 2 blue antler horns, hums to herself as she sits on the railing of a Chinese pavilion. She looks off to the distance, enjoying the view of clouds and birds flying near her place.

She uses her tail to grab hold of a liquor bottle nearby then brings it to her mouth.

"Ahhh~ This is great, nice view... Maybe I can feel some inspiration for my next poem..." She takes a sip of her bottle then sets it back down.

"Hmm... Not really feeling it..." She looks down, only to blink as she sees a metal object that has a rook pattern on it flying to her, "Hmm?"

The female looks at the object with curiosity before deciding to get up then stretches a bit, "Might as well check it out. Could be a way to inspire me."

"Sloppy. Again," Atalanta emotionlessly says as she blocks another strike from Ashura, who is wielding a claymore.

"Can't we take a break?" Ashura grunts while panting before backing up, "We've been going at it for an hour now after eating."

She shakes her head, "Thou have a mission in four days. Thy need more preparation to be able to at least kill an enemy, if needed." She makes a come here motion, taunting him to attack again.

He grits his teeth while shaking his head, "Can't we just not kill other people? I don't want to be a murderer." He charges in with an overhead strike.

Atalanta opens her mouth, before closing it as she mulls over what to say, "Why dost thou not want to kill?" She effortlessly redirects the claymore into the ground before using her wooden sword to thrust at him.

Ashura quickly brings up the back part of the claymore to block her strike, "I just don't want more people to die! And I hate the thought of becoming a murderer!" He shouts before using his claymore to swing at her legs.

She scoffs, "Why? Dost thou wish that thy could save everyone?" She jumps away before summoning her bow and notching an arrow of light, "The battlefield doesn't care for thy kind. Only killing." She lets the arrow fly.

"I don't care! I will follow through my promises no matter what!" He grits his teeth as his muscles hurt due to blocking the arrows with his claymore.

Atalanta notches another arrow, before slowly lowering it, "Fine, a twenty minute break then running around R.I three times." She turns her back against him then walks off to the vending machine near the door.

Ashura sighs in relief as he collapses to the floor, "Oh thank go – I mean fuck god." He lifts his head up to look around, only seeing him and Atalanta here due to the latter dragging him for training in the morning after breakfast as a way to save him from the others, "Hey Ata, bring me a soda please," He loudly calls out before collapsing again.

She shakes her head with a sigh, "I will never understand why thou drink this... Beverage," She loudly hisses out at the end, "Just drink water."

"No. I like soda more in this moment, thank you very much," He shouts in response.

Silence descends, leaving him to relax and let his mind wander... A little too much as his cheeks become red again after remembering his spicy dream, though it settles down as he focuses on the end of the dream.

"Who was that voice... Maybe a remnant of the former doctor? No, he already told me that I didn't have to worry about him... I'll just take that with a grain of dirt," He mulls over to himself while waiting for his soda.

His mulling gets interrupted by a cold feeling on his stomach, prompting him to look up to see Atalanta putting his drink on him with her eyes twitching.

"...Thank you?" He wisely opts to ignore the eye twitching and thanks her for the drink.

She nods before looking down at him with her bow in hand. He notices the bow and looks away from her, "Erm... What?"

"Master. Are thou serious about not killing?"

"...Yes. Yes I am."

"Indirect killing?"

"What – oh... Yes..."

"Are thou sure? Thou art a commander, someone who directs the battlefield... Death is inevitable."

"Yes... No... Honestly I don't know... I just don't want any more deaths..."

"Commendable but foolish... Just like a person I knew of." She notices the raised eyebrow from him, so she continues with a nostalgic look, "Thou reminds me of my previous Master, a young man who was forced to become the savior of Humanity, watching, and committing atrocities one after another. Just to save his world, all while smiling and hiding the pain from everyone."

Her nostalgic look turns into rage, "Yet what did he get for all his troubles? Betrayal after betrayal from the humans he fought for! All because he was the most dangerous Master of all times, with all of us at his call. The last time I ever saw him was when he was being called for another meeting by those damnable men then later me and the servants who stayed behind started dissipating!"

She looks right into his eyes, "Dost thou get it? What it means to dissipate? That means our contract with our Master became void and the mana in Chaldea instantly disappeared, making the stronger servants to dissipate the fastest because there was nothing to tether them."

Her look turns into sorrow, "I regret not being able to save him the most, the male that earned my apple, the apple that signified I found him trustworthy... And now, you. You are following his footsteps. Even though thy had only taken one step, that is all I need to know that I should stop you."

*Authors Note*

A surprise chapter that I honestly didn't planned for a while. But I got it done under 1 hour after being inspired so here we are. Now, on to a comment I read over at fanfiction that told me that Yazi, the Yellow-haired ganster-look-a-like sibling of Nian, was Ling and I was being a dipshit for "apparently" getting her name wrong. Whoopsy dootsy fuck you Yagami Kuzuki. Ever heard of OC? Ever heard of Nian most likely got 12 siblings if we are following the legend? No? Then you are the dipshit. That is all.
