"You like that?" Sam turned their neck in a position that looked painful and nodded. "Yeah, I like it too. You know what I don't like? This..." I turned their head back. I shut the laptop and put it on the bedside table. "I guess we'll go look at it in person tomorrow."
I turned onto my side after Sam nodded. A minute later I felt a cold hand on my bicep. Sam curled up behind me and cuddled into me. I smiled and turned over, I laid Sam's head on my bare chest. I kissed their cheek goodnight. ___________
Legs kicked at mine and arms pushed me away. Cold hands reached out and scratched my arm. My eyes shot open, not because of the pain, because of the sound that could make Hell cold. And it came from the small body next to me.
I sat up halfway and looked down at Sam. They stoped moving and their breathing slowed. A squeak left their mouth and their gorgeous blue eyes fluttered open. I smiled and ran my fingers through their hair.
"Bad dream?"
They nodded and tilted their head into my hand. I pulled them into a hug, a ten minute cuddle hug. They dug their head into my bare chest again. Now that I think about it Sam is cold almost all the time. Well, it depends on what time it is, or where they are.
I smiled and I began to plant kisses on their face. They giggled and tried to move away. I wrapped my arms around them and pulled them closer.
"Hey, breakfast is ready."
I yawned. "Okay."
Jensen left and went down to the kitchen. I got up and put a shirt on. Sam sat up and yawned, which was adorable, mind you. They rubbed their eyes and made grabby hands for me. I smiled and went over to them and picked them up.
I opened the door and a wave of chocolate. I could tell Sam did too because they looked fully awake and they kept sniffing the air. We went downstairs and into the kitchen. Two trays of chocolate muffins sat oh the stove. Jensen and Danneel stood next to the stove and quietly talked.
"Aww, morning sunshine." Danneel cooed once she saw Sam.
"Kid's the opposite of sunshine, mind you." I joked.
Sam giggled, their stomach also growled pretty loud.
"Okay, let's eat." _______________
