I never thought that coming into this world will change my view on how I see life. Other than the fact that Bella herself was a dumb blonde but without the blonde hair.
"So you're finally meeting up with your friend, Jacob right?" Rina said. Her eyes looking Bella up and down as they walked towards the movie theater. "Y-Yeah, I just you know..needed to go out more and you being the extrovert friend I need would help break the ice."
I was in fact not an extrovert. Just a girl wanting to go home and sleep.
"Mm, I guess I can help out. But did Mike seriously have to invite himself out with us?" Rina groaned, that look of annoyance crossing her face every time she thought of Mike joining them.
"He insisted, and you know we barely hangout with him." Bella pointed out. "Mike is not my friend, I only tolerate the bastard as well as Jessica." Rina spoke bluntly without hesitation.
Bella's face cringed up at Rina's words, but she couldn't blame the girl. She thought of Mike as an annoying little brother and Jessica was just subtle mean to her.
"Okay, but come on. Don't bail on me now, I seriously just want to be normal for a second and not depressed over my ex."
Rina agreed nonetheless, she still didn't understand what Bella saw in Edward, but she would rather keep that to herself than upset the girl.
"Okay, fine we're almost there anyways. This movie better be fucking worth it or else I'm asking my money back."
___
The movie was in fact worth it, all the blood and gore was too good for her to miss out. She didn't even realize when Mike went off to barf in the bathroom and Bella and Jacob following after him to check up on him.
She literally forgot that this was the part where Mike would be a pussy and go scurry off to the bathroom. Gosh he was such a coward, but Rina wasn't moving to go check up on him. She's not wasting money on that crybaby blonde.
Rina did eventually get a text that Bella was waiting for her in the car, saying how both of the boys ran off on her. Ugh, she hates drama when she's involved in it.
___
Two weeks, Jacob has gone awol and hasn't texted Bella that night, honestly I knew what was going to start happening after that day at the movie theater. The plot was thickening and somehow I was slowly being consumed in it.
I couldn't tell if hanging out with Bella was a good thing or not, the thrill of seeing everything happening right before my eyes is amazing. But to also realize that I was becoming a character of show a hit book series. I was doomed.
My eyes shifted towards Bella as she was leading me towards her special place out in the field in the middle of the woods. We grew close, yes. But I never thought that she would bring me along with her.
I couldn't help but open my mouth, the words spewing out faster than I could think. "So is this where you going to kill me?" I joked.
Bella looked back at me, like I snapped her out of thought. "What? No, wait why would you say that?"
Rina shrugged as she gestured around the woods. "Well we're in the middle of the woods, and you're guiding me to some special place that your ex took you. Um I'm not sure, but the warning bells in my head are going off."
Bella for once seemed to smile and huff out a laugh, shaking her head as she slowed down her pace to match strides with me. Her balance as always were unwell, but she managed to keep up with me.
"No, I wouldn't kill you. I don't think I have the strength nor stamina to even knock you down. You have muscles and I've seen your strength. You can kick my ass and a bear." Bella responded as she awkwardly punched Rina's shoulder playfully.
Rina couldn't help but grin, her eyes winking at the girl with a playful look. "Don't worry Belly Bells, I'll protect us. Besides what could go wrong?"
A lot can in-fact go wrong, I was stupid enough to even say words. I like to believe those are the last words of a final girl before she gets bodied ans dies!
But I can't die, no not yet at least. I still want to see Ren grow up, and I can't let papa mourn one of his children. I believe he still wants me to get married and give him some grandkids or just spend more time with him. Ugh, why is this on my mind now!? Focus Rina!
They stopped in the middle of an open field, the grass and flowers seemed to have died due to the weather. Rina's eyes flickered around the empty space.
"Is this where your ex took you?"
"Edward, his name was Edward." Bella spoke quietly, memories coming to mind as she kneeled down and touched the ground.
"I didn't want to upset you by saying his name." I spoke gently as I watched her. Sometimes I feel like people forget, Bella was just a girl in love who did stupid shit. For once she probably felt happy with Edward and for him to dip on her. That..was actually kind of sad to witness.
"Look, Bella we don't have to be here. You know?" Rina stepped towards Bella, and helped her stand up. There were tears in her eyes, the truth finally spilling down her face that Edward wasn't coming back.
"I-I know.." Bella managed to whisper out softly, sniffling as she wiped her face and cleared her throat. "You're right, we should just go back." She agreed.
They turned around to make their way back, only to be met with a man standing across from them. His shirt was unbuttoned, his dreads thrown back into a ponytail and his red eyes are what stood out to the girls.
"Ah..Bella.."
