Still In the MCU...They Can't Get Rid of Us (Follow up to story Into the MCU)

Notes: Ok, so note that I know the throne room we see in the Thor movies is actually just a small portion of like this huge open kinda place like large enough for ships to just fly through and crash land in the hall. But I've always taken liberty with how things look for the sake of the story, so here it's still like the same massive size but is more of a room and has a door and all that, which doesn't adhere to what it probably really is. So basically I'm doing what I've been doing with it and we're just gonna go with it😁 Also, I guess the shout-outs for this chapter go to all y'all who requested a wedding. I wasn't gonna do the wedding, as I've told some people, because to me it's something that would be too beautiful to imagine. And I stand by that. Which is why I focused more on the characters and not so much like the setting or ceremony. I'm also too lazy to care about what an Asgardian wedding logically might be like and I just kinda threw shit in enough to fill what needed to be filled, but my focus is on the characters and their relationships and interactions, as has always been my thing really. So sorry if you wanted like vivid description of like accurate detail or any of that kind of thing. It's something that I could never put into words, given how amazing or beautiful I think it'd be, so I didn't bother trying.
Please let me know if u see mistakes, cuz I've kinda been just jumping in here when I have time and doing parts, so I don't know if I've joined things smoothly or proofread it thoroughly.

You were sitting in the living room of the compound, like you did on most Friday nights. Though, to be fair, you'd only been back for just over a month. Still, you'd gotten into a routine. You trained with Loki, Lady Sif, Valkyrie, and the Warriors Three. Sometimes together, sometimes with one of the listed individuals.

The Guardians made pitstops at Asgard when they were in the area, which was fun. If it weren't for Gamora, they'd miss every virtual check-in. Thankfully, she was there, so you got to see them every week with the rest of the team. You and Loki liked to visit earth every other week, if you couldn't get down once a week. What a thing to say to yourself...'visit earth.' Who'd have thought that would be part of one's weekly plans? To visit the planet you were supposed to live on? Loki was busier than you, who hadn't stepped into whatever duties revolved around being queen yet, so you made it a goal to get down every Friday. Sometimes you dropped in multiple times a week. It was, essentially, just a walk down the street...or bridge in this case.

Thor lived with Jane, though they'd spend weekends on Asgard on occasion. She'd never leave earth entirely, as long as there was research and work for her to do. It was a comfort, though, to know that they were all just a bifrost away. To hell with cars, you were spoiled by the magical cosmic travel at your disposal. Hence why you were chilling in the compound living room once again. Loki wasn't with you tonight, because he was busy with...other things.

"What're you doing here?" Bucky asked from the kitchen, holding a carton of juice in his hands.

"That's what I said!" Sam chimed from his seat next to you.

"And I'll tell you the same thing I told Sam: I always come here on Fridays," you answered.

"Yeah, but...it's October 10th," Bucky continued with his look.

"That's what I said!" Sam repeated with even more emphasis than last time.

"Guys, she's clearly nervous, which is both adorable and understandable," Yelena shrugged as she pulled her arm back for an attempted strike in Wii Bowling.

"I'm not! Seriously, I'm not."

"Right," Sam laughed at the same time Bucky hummed in understanding, like they'd given him the answer.

"Makes sense," Bucky nodded, drinking from the container.

"No it doesn't, and why are you drinking straight from the juice???" you challenged, "You think I want your spit in my mouth?"
