And... this duology is over! Woohooooo!

The entire ATLITSAS project (All the Lights in the Sky Are Stars, basically both the Starsong and Starstorm duology), took me about a year in whole, and Starstorm was also the first novel-length story I ever wrote - so safe to say there was a lot of screaming, tears, hair-tearing, sobbing facedown into keyboards and so on, plus several long stretches of writer's block in which I thought, luckily incorrectly, that I would never finish this. (I say novel-length, not novel, because I never wrote it with the intention of it getting that long, and kept on telling myself it was just a short story that had run on for a bit. Great motivation tactic, but next one's going to be a novel written with the intention of writing one for real.)

At any rate, yeah. It was real difficult, and I probably never would've made it without support, so here's lots of gratitude to allianaavelinjackson and EvelinMoondust. Thanks for putting up with my crazy ramblings, guys. Couldn't have done it without you.

And thanks to you too, dear reader, for getting through this slightly messy, chaotic, labor-of-love that was this first draft; for wandering this world with me; for going along with Kaya and the others on their adventure. You probably got your feet stuck in a lot of plot holes and smacked into too many long paragraph walls, which far surpassed the number of hyphens and commas any self-respecting paragraph should have.

Really, thank you.

And just a quick note, but I might be publishing something else soon (I say soon, more like in months and months time, ha). I have managed to finish the first draft, though I'm beginning to find it might be even harder trying to make something presentable of it. But, well, in case I do manage to finish in schedule, it'll be up by the end of the year, I think. Fantasy, angst, people who are half-mythical creature, lots of magic - you know, the works. Keep an eye out for it, if you're interested.

Well, at any rate, I've probably rambled on for long enough now. No doubt you have other important tasks to get to, other books you've just bought and are itching to read, perhaps even your own story you're trying to wrangle into shape (in which case, props to you, and watch out. Those stories can be pesky things, stealing your time and attention and energy and maybe causing a few daydreaming accidents.) I'll leave you to it.

Cheers,

Serena_Nymph.
