The Last Ones | Twisted Rainbow Aftermath (Part 1)

Shadow Sabre looked around for any sign of where to find the others. Looking through the glass pane didn't work. It didn't show anything for him. "What do I do? What do I do?" He kept asking himself. He especially missed M and was wanting to find him so bad. Shadow was desperate now. He was worried about shining his flashlight in the sky. He might also be taken by whoever took the others. Shadow wasn't going to risk it despite wanting to know what happened to the others. He sighed. But then he noticed something. He looked on the ground and noticed another symbol. Shadow grabbed the glass pane and looked at the symbol through it but then he gasped. It was the symbol representing flower. Shadow looked around, confused. Then he remembered what M told him. When people look through the glass pane at him, he has a halo over his head and a flower on his hoodie. "What do all these symbols mean?" He asks. He sighs. "This is getting me nowhere. I need to look harder. At least find the village or any of the others. Especially M." He says. M had been missing for a while. Shadow Sabre wanted to find them all but he especially wanted to find M. Shadow looked up at the sky thinking about how life was like when the world they came from still existed. Now that it was gone, it felt very different. Shadow knew he had to do something. He just didn't know what to do. But then he heard something. He looked over. The sound was coming from a bush. Shadow was worried about going over to it thinking he might then get taken by whatever was taking the others. But he decided to be brave and do it. He slowly walked over to the bush. He stopped in front of it and looked behind it. But then, M pops out from behind it and pokes Shadow on the nose. Shadow was startled and jumped back. M seemed to laugh even without any sound coming from his mouth. Shadow then finally realized it was M. "M! You're okay!" He exclaimed. M got out from behind the bush. Shadow ran over and hugged him. M smiled. Shadow was relieved and happy that he finally found M. "I'm so glad you're okay." He says. Shadow finally let go after a moment. But then he noticed M's stab wound. "M! What happened?" He asks. M shrugged. "You're hurt!" Shadow exclaimed. M looked at him sadly. "Well, all I'm happy about is you're safe." Shadow says, "But now we really need to find the others." M looked at him shocked. But then he gestured something. "Wait. You saw them?" Shadow asks. M nodded. "Do you know where they are?" Shadow asks. M nods. "Where?" Shadow asks. M points somewhere. Shadow sighs. "We better find a place to stop for the night. One of us should stay up to stay guard." He says. M nodded. "Also, M." Shadow says. M looked at him confused. But then, Shadow poked M on the nose. "Now we're even." He says. M smiled. They found an area in the forest to stop and they set up a camp. Shadow shined his flashlight in the forest making sure no one was coming. M was sitting next to him. He looked at him. Shadow looked at him. "Luckily, there's nothing around currently. I still say one of us should stay up though." He says turning off his flashlight. Shadow had given M back his flashlight after he found him. M nodded. "I don't know how I found you. When me and Rainbow and me and The Great One were searching the forest, we kept finding a few symbols. There was one before I found you that was the symbol for flower. I don't know why." Shadow explains. M pointed to the area where the flower would show up on Shadow's hoodie when looking through the glass pane. Shadow sighed. "I don't know. The symbol was drawn before I saw it. Someone drew it in the dirt and the glass pane was able to show what it meant since we can't understand the symbols." He says. M put his head down. He knew what happened to the others but couldn't explain it to Shadow. "I don't know who is doing all of this. They're always hiding when they take someone. They took Twisted Rainbow, Hypno Steve and The Great One. They also took you but I don't know what they did with you." Shadow says, "Assistant Steve is safe though. He's back at the village. We need to go back there tomorrow to fix him and then go find the others." M nods. "I was working together with Twisted though. He wanted to find you as well." Shadow says. M looks at him. "I don't fully know why." Shadow says. M makes another gesture. Shadow looks at him. "I know. Lots of things have been happening and I guess ever since you were taken, we all just became concerned. We're the last ones alive from the other world being destroyed. I guess we all would want each other to survive. Otherwise, the old worlds remains would be gone forever." He says. M nods. "That's why we do need to get the others back." Shadow says. M seemed to sigh then he seemed to yawn. Shadow took another look around the forest. Then M fell asleep. Shadow looked at him and let him rest on his lap. Shadow was tired but decided to stay up to keep watch. He didn't want anything else happening to M. After about an hour, Shadow turned off his flashlight. He looked at M. Shadow yawned. Then he fell asleep.
