This character takes place in Stellar!Astral Mother's Timeline.

One day, I will grow up to become the ruler of Monsterkind in Alphatale, just as my Mother and Father were, before you came in.-Azrael

Azrael is a type of boss monster that resides in Alphatale, and is the son of Alphatale Toriel and Asgore. He is the Asriel Dreemurr of the Alphatale AU.

Backstory:

Azrael was born from both Toriel and Asgore at sometime in the past. As he is their only son, they had been with his parents for a lot in us life. And knowing that he will need to grow up sooner, due to how dangerous that everything had became, or at least, believe that there will be something dangerous that will happen to them soon, they decided to teach Azrael how to be a ruler. So, they taught him how to command, how to rule, and how to fight. He trained very hard and practiced much more harder on himself, and did all with his parents and himself to the hand surpass them as a fighter, but be as kind of a ruler as they both are. But one day, Toriel had died, and this made Asgore waste away in grief. But even in grief, Asgore did all he can to be a good ruler and teach him how to fight, as well as helping him improve his magical flames, which he is able to finish training with, but Asgore had died when someone decided to kill him, in which Azrael killed that person, but is suffering from immense sadness, due to the fact that both of his parents are now dead, and since nobody knew of the fact that Azrael exists and is their son, a woman known as the Astral Mother took control of the kingdom and ruled it in her own way, and not kindly.

Azrael, not wanting to be found, he decides to run and hide within the Underground, his magic complete in training, but his ability to fight is not. But despite that, he is still better and more skilled than any of the others, with the exception of the Astral Mother, who is stronger than him. But when inside of a Slum part of the city that he is in, he is met by an unknown monster, and he is revealed to formerly be one of his parent's guards, but was fired, due to something that he had accidentally done. When he identified himself as their son, the monster recognized that fact, due to sensing their lineage. He claims that will he cannot help him in everything, he can help him with one thing that Azrael will want help in. When Azrael talked about his training, including his incomplete training, the former guard decided to help him in that. Although old, he is still very skilled as he was in his physical prime, and is even more skilled than Asgore himself. And thus, Azrael continued to train as much as he can, and he worked very hard and harshly, and he used 2 swords to train. And finally, after a long amount of harsh training, Azrael is able to finish his training in combat. However, on the same day, the monster that he had trained with has reached the end of his life. Despite this, he asks for his name, and he said it. And after he stayed by his side so that he does not die alone, he buried his remains elsewhere, and made sure that he gained some form of recognition. And so, Azrael became a monster that is able to surpass his parents, and he trained constantly, and makes sure that the Astral Mother does not find him, due to how worried he is at meeting her.

However, one fateful day, an attack occurred, and Azrael, who is involved in this, fights against the attackers, and he lasted a very long time against them, but they are soon able to overpower Azrael, before he is defeated. But before he can he killed, the Astral Mother came and killed the attackers. And Azrael was stunned to see that the Astral Mother is there with him. The Astral Mother took his hand, offering him a chance to live and Azrael, while a little bit scared of her, is even more scared to die,, and thus, he took her hand, and the Astral Mother took Azrael away, as Alphatale had been destroyed.
