drama and a first kiss

"Gotta get through all the tacos I can before we leave," Rosé sighed, picking up her fifth taco and starting on it.

"I ordered you some to-go, hon," Jisoo hummed, patting her knee under the table. "You can save them for when we get to Little Rock."

"Best wife," Rosé mumbled through a mouthful of food.

Jennie grinned across the table at her friends and then dropped her attention back to her plate of tacos.

"I got another round," Irene announced as she dropped down into her seat with a tray of margaritas in hand. "You don't mind driving, right, motherfucker?"

"I'm good to drive," Lisa nodded, sipping from her glass of water before adding hot sauce to one of her tacos.

"I'll pass. Got to be able to read the map and not send us to Wichita or something," Jennie hummed, sliding her margarita to Irene.

"Seriously?" The drummer whined, her bottom lip poking out in a little pout.

Jennie just shrugged and stole Lisa's water, drinking the rest of it and setting the empty cup down in front of her plate.

"Thief," Lisa muttered quietly.

Jennie grinned and then stole a taco from Lisa's plate and the bottle of hot sauce.

"Woah, woah, that's where I draw the line," Lisa complained, holding her hand out for her taco to be returned.

Jennie quickly added hot sauce to the taco and pushed the bottle into Lisa's outstretched hand. She leaned away from her and took a large bite of the taco, a triumphant grin on her face as she chewed.

"I'm gonna need to get some to-go too it seems," Lisa huffed.

With an eye roll, Jennie handed Lisa the other half of the taco, swiping her thumb along her bottom lip to catch the bit of hot sauce she'd gotten on it.

"Dramatic weirdo," Jennie chuckled, her tongue swiping the sauce off her thumb as she looked at Lisa.

"Who the fuck made you two friends?" Irene asked, watching their interaction closely.

Jennie blinked and looked across the table at her band, almost momentarily having forgotten they were there.

"Elton," she replied with an innocent shrug.

"He can do the impossible," Lisa tacked on with a lopsided smile.

Jennie avoided Jisoo's critical gaze and instead stole a chip from Lisa's plate this time, deciding to use her own bowl of guacamole though.

"We should get them their own table next time," Rosé snorted.

"Fuck off, Chae," Jennie replied, shooting her the middle finger.

"It's the magic of the tour bus," Jisoo sighed, leaning into Rosé's side and narrowing her eyes at Jennie. "Close quarters can bring anyone together."

"The guac's good, right?" Lisa mumbled, looking for any kind of shift she could make in conversation to stop the uncomfortable tension that she could see taking over Jennie's shoulders.

She silently slid her bowl of guacamole over to Lisa, noting her bowl was empty. She met Jisoo's gaze and tried not to shrink away from it.

"So, I have to drink your margarita too?" Irene asked, hurrying to finish her own and clearly getting a brain freeze.

"Sucks to be you," Jennie replied smoothly, still holding Jisoo's gaze, barely registering the drummer's question.

"Uh... what city are you most excited for?" Lisa tried again, looking at Irene and Rosé for responses.
