"But sir,this move will go against everything we and the realm stand for"

"I guess sometimes you have to break the rules to make the rules".

Alexander POV

"So what do we do know,we are still going to save my dad right",i asked not convinced with the attitude they were showing towards the matter.
I still couldn't believe how much the difference in time between Humano Terra  and Earth was.We had spent about a day and  in the former but it was about thirty minutes or so in Earth.
Mind-blowing.

"Exactly.Bro, we just went into the realm with no plan whatsoever and now we might have soldiers from another universe coming after us",Adams said.

"Well I guess your right",I said.

"Yes he is.Apparently we have no idea how to get your dad and we don't even know where he really is", Jeath said trying to study the room he found himself.

First time on earth.

"Well maybe the mystic one has a plan...

"Enough, that's enough.This was my mistake.Sending you children on a mission to another realm was madness".

"Children?",i said surprised we were addressed as such.

I mean I get were not adults but at least teens would have been better.

"With all due respect Mrs Mystic One,I don't think seeing us as children is the right way to go and by the way we were actually on our own,in an entirely different universe for the best part of a very long time before Mr Jeath over here found us",i rebelled.

I could feel Abigail and Adams trying to tell me to calm down but c'mon guys,my dad was on the line.

The Mystic One walked up to me, touching my face,"Adams,do not allow your emotions take you away from what reality has to offer".

It had been a week since the whole "mission  save my dad" and i have to say,for something that felt like we had taken big steps to rescue my dad, realistically we really didn't.For starters,we didn't even see my dad which just made all our efforts look worthless.

"Hey, are you going to finish that",Adams said looking at my bowl of french fries.

I gave him a look.

He got the message.

"Look bro,you know that the Mystic One knows best.I mean bro, she's kinda like a demigod so she should know best",Adams said munching on the remains of his fries.

I sighed.

"What".

"Well firstly i don't think her decision of letting my dad die in another universe is a good thing and secondly, she's not a demigod okay, she's more of the protector of the bridge between our universe and thiers" i said feeling pretty good about enlightening Adams.

"Spoken like a through archeologist.Speaking of archeology, your dad's a smart man so don't you think he would have known you might have an issue like this and would have kept an alternative for you and also what about your dad's journal?", Adams asked.

"Well what about it"

"Well, I'm assuming you haven't covered every detail of it "

I gave Adams an I'm impressed look.

School had it's own way of making you feel if life was worth it.I'm just joking though.

School is super important.

I had just managed to get through the fifth period of the day and on my way to the cafe, 
i was called by our School's counsellor.

I wondered why.

   Well walking home from school goes down as one the most loneliness times of my life not because of something serious though,the two closest people in my life,Abigail and Adams,had post school activities and I didn't.It however, didn't turn out to be a lonely walk because I had so much to think about.The school counsellor called me earlier and i was actually surprised by that but the reason didn't really calm the emotions down.Iris,well Iris had been depressed, at least that was what she said.She said things in that category and  also said that I wasn't helping things.
Whatever that meant.

I got home with the Iris thought still in my mind.Mum was rarely at home so I yelled for Iris presence.

"Iris, Iris you there",I said making PB&J sandwich while switching on my phone.I know it makes me look weird switching off my phone during school hours but I guess we can't all be the same.

"Hey Iris,we need to talk",i  said trying to make up my mind on whether I should just wait for her to come down or I should rather go up.I ended up going upstairs and I noticed about three missed from calls from both my mum and Iris.

Something wasn't right.

I got upstairs and I couldn't believe what I saw.

"Iris,Mr Rivers, are you okay?", I said trying to wake up Iris, who was bleeding on her forehead. Mr Rivers was slowly regaining consciousness.Tears were filling my eyes.

"What happened here",I said deep in tears.

There was a brief silence.

"Micheal...what happened here",

"Buddy they.......they took her.They took your mum".

A really tense end wasn't it.Anyways i am not going to say much,all I can say is get ready for the next chapter.(◠‿◕)(◠‿◕)
