The Cursed Crow Princess

Third and final set, the score is now 10 - 8, with Seijoh leading by 2 points. Oikawa prepares for another serve and Shoko catches it. 

"Nngh!" She groans.

"Nice receive Shoko!" Kageyama tosses the ball to Asahi who spikes, only for Seijoh to catch it and it was about to go over to the net when Oikawa decides to toss the ball from there to Iwaizumi.

Shoko predicts where Iwaizumi would spike the ball but couldn't do the proper receive when her chest starts to ache but tries her best not to show it. Karasuno eventually calls for a time out. 

"Alright, you guys are able to fight against them just fine so keep your cool!" Coach Ukai encourages. 

"Yessir!"

"Eh? Yamaguchi-kun is coming in?" Shoko ask in surprise when Coach Ukai decides to send out Yamaguchi as their Pinch Server, replacing Shoyo.

"He's being way too nervous" says Tsukishima. 

"He must be feeling the intense pressure" says Shoko as she sees Yamaguchi shaking very visibly.

"Go on and give it your all Yamaguchi-kun" Shoko encourages. 

"Make it a good one" says Kageyama. 

Yamaguchi nods as he stands by the court and prepares to serve. The whistle blows and Yamaguchi attempts his jump float. However to his horror, it didn't even go across the net. It wasn't even a net-in. 

Shoko quickly rush in and attempt to touch the ball before the point is lost to Seijoh.

'Ball, come to me!'

However her powers failed to respond to her as the ball touches the floor and Shoko fails to save a point and her chest starts to ache.

"Tsssk" She hiss.

"I-I'm sorry... I'm really sorry!" Yamaguchi apologizes.

"Don't worry about it"

"Yamaguchi-kun, you can do it next time" says Shoko and Yamaguchi held back his tears as he nods. 

"Tanaka nice serve!" Tanaka serves and eventually earning Karasuno another point and now the score is 18 - 20, Karasuno needs 2 points to catch up to Seijoh.

The rally continues and Seijoh has just gotten their match point. It feels as if they are about to win.

"Don't get scared now! Keep pushing forward!!" Nishinoya encourages.

The whistle blows and Seijoh serves to which Shoko receives it. Kageyama toss it to Asahi who manage to earn them another point. 

Tanaka's turns to serve once again and Seijoh's Libero caught it and as if driven by desperation, Tanaka charges in and touches the ball with his shoulder. Just as it's about to go over the net, Shoko jumps up high and while using one hand, she tosses it back to her team to which Shoyo manages to score, bringing the score to a deuce, where whichever side gets the lead with 2 points wins.

"That was an amazing jump Shoko!!" Nishinoya exclaims. 

"Kageyama! I'll hit broad attacks however many it takes! Until we score!" Shoyo exclaims. 

"Alright, let's win this!" When the time out ended, Daichi and Tanaka swap places.

"Shoko-chan nice serve!"

Shoko does her breathing and adjusting herself. At the sound of the whistle, she does a jump serve. Seijoh catches it but it seemed unstable. 

"Three blockers!" Seijoh fails to spike a score. 

"Chance ball!" Nishinoya calls. 

Kageyama tosses it to Shoyo to which the Libero catches it, causing the ball to go back to the Karasuno court. 

"Chance ball!" 

"One more time!" Shoyo yells. He spikes but once again get caught by the Libero and he quickly joins his sister to block the ball.

"ONE TOUCH!!" Shoko yells. 

"One more time!!!" Shoyo yells. 

Kageyama quickly toss it to Shoyo who unexpectedly does a feint instead and earning Karasuno a point. 

"Shoyo!!" Nishinoya calls, spreading his arms wide as he runs towards Shoyo. 

"Shoko one more nice serve!"

'Uwahh... I can feel the pressure. But nonetheless... I can do this'

Shoko does another jump serve which Seijoh catches it and they're preparing for a spike to which they scores, bringing the score to another deuce. Oikawa serves but Nishinoya dodges it instead as it was an out, thus earning Karasuno another point.

The rally is seemingly never ending as the score brings it up to 31 - 31 and now it goes back to Oikawa's serving again. 

"Let's take it back in one go!" Daichi yells. 

Oikawa jumps and does a powerful serve to which Daichi is barely catching it. It was a free ball for Seijoh and Oikawa was preparing to toss the ball. Kageyama blocks the ball when he realizes Kunimi is the one who will be spiking. 

But that block gave Seijoh another free ball. Just when they thought it would be Kunimi again, it becomes a faint to which they fail to catch it, bringing Seijoh's point to 32.

Oikawa prepares for another serve, a jump floater and luckily, Shoko was quick enough to react and catch the ball.

"Left!"

"Center!"

Kageyama tosses it to Asahi who spikes and Seijoh touches it. The Libero catches it and Seijoh connects the ball to the next.

"Iwa-chan!"

"Nngh!"Shoko groans as she catches Iwaizumi's spike. With each rapid movement, Shoko can feel the pain in her chest was getting worse.

'No... I can't fall now! Not now! Not here!'

Kageyama tosses the ball to Shoyo who attempts to do their insane Quick attack but gets blocked. 

'Can't let it fall here! I'm not done playing! BALL! FALL TOWARDS ME!!!!'

As if everything happened in a slow motion, Shoko chases the ball but her powers does not respond to her this time and she felt a heavy sting in her chest.

"Gah!" She yelp in pain but never forgetting to stretch out her hand for the ball. However, she could only watch as the fall fell right in front of her, even Kageyama and Nishinoya failed to catch the ball. 

Shoko falls to the floor as the ball touches the floor. Her eyes widen with pure shock. Shoko clenches her fists tightly while another hand clutching her jersey as her lips quivered.

"C-Cap... I'm sor-"

"You didn't make any mistakes! It wasn't a mistake so don't apologize!" says Daichi as he gathers up the members for a greeting. 

"Let's get off the court quickly. Any discussions will be made later" says Coach Ukai and Karasuno quickly clears the court.
