Network Error [Cancelled]

Normal day? I highly doubt that

I smiled at her and started to play with her hair.

"Nothing..."

"Sure..."

She moved a bit and grabbed the end of my shirt.

"Is she sleeping?"

"Yup."

The twins went back to watching the movie. I felt Lanes shivering so I went to my room to grab a blanket. Once I reached it, I noticed one laying in my desk. I grabbed it and ran downstairs when I noticed something blinking in the yard. It had a blue light. It felt... Familiar. I blinked a few times but when I looked again through the window it wans't there. Weird. I thought there was something in there.

"Must be my imagination..."

I kept walking downstairs. I walked to the couch and put Laney in my lap, before wrapping ourselves in the blanket. I yawned and hugged her against my chest.

"Guys?"

"Yes?"

"How much is left of the movie?"

There was a moment of silence before both aswered.

"One hour."

"Okay. Thanks."

I yawned again and put myself head on top of Laney's before driffting to sleep.

"Dude... Dude. Dude!"

I opened my eyes a little, the light from the TV blinding me. I looked up and found the twins looking at me and shaking my arm.

"What?"

"You have to change clothes."

"Oh okay... Wait what?"

"You can't sleep in your everyday clothes. You need to change into your pijamas."

I glared at them.

"And you woke me for that?"

They rolled their eyes. They already had their pijamas on.

"Well, duh. Now go change!"

"Fine I'm going!"

I tried to get up when I remembered a certain redhead sitting in my lap.

"Guys..."

"We're not waking her up. You remember what happened last time we did it."

"And how is she supposed to change? I am not..."

"If you don't find a way to wake up without making her mad that is the only solution."

"But..."

"No buts Riffin. It's your problem."

With that they turned to the TV once again. I glared at them and grabbed Laney bridal style, careful to not wake her. I was in the middle of the stairs when I heard something whisper behind me.

"Aww... She's adorable while sleeping, isn't she?"

"What?"

I turned around but there wasn't anyone. Or anything. I blinked a few times but there was only the empty staircase. However, when I looked to the corner, I could've swear there was something watching me and trying to hide itself. It looked like a shadow but it had a familiar blue glowing. I looked again but it had disappeared. Though, I swear it smirked at me.

"Stupid imagination."

I kept walking and entered the room. I looked at Laney once again and bit my lip.

"Please wake up, please wake up, please wake up..."

Unfortunately chanting for her to wake up wasn't working. I layed her on my bed. I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom to change. At least she could wake up during that time or I could have any ideas.

When I opened the door I found Laney staring at the window... In her pijamas...

"Lanes?"

She turned to me and smiled.

"Yes?"

"When did you wake up?"

"Before you."

"What?"

I aproached her and raised an eyebrow. The smile was still in her lips.

"Explain that."

At that time we were chest to chest. All of us had grow up over the years. Me and Kon were still the tallest but suprisingly she was now taller than Kin. However she only reached my shoulder.

She smiled wider.

"It was Kin's idea. He wanted to see your reaction."

"And you agreed?"

She rolled her eyes still smiling.

"Well duh!"

She laughed lightly.

"Besides you were kinda of funny."

There was a moment silence between us. I could only stare at her lips, that stupid smile still there.

How do you think she would react if you kissed her right now?

So now my imagination is making voices? It's kind of creeping me out.

"Hey Core? You okay?"

I looked at her. Her smile had turned into a frow and her hands were holding mine.

I smiled at her.

"Yeah!"

She furrowed her eyebrows and squeezed my hands.

"You sure?"

I pressed my forehead against hers.

"Yes."

Out of nowhere she hugged me.

"If you ever need anything just tell me okay?"

I hugged her back thightly.

"Okay."

We just stayed like that for a few minutes when a loud crash came from the kitchen.

"Ahh! Help! The popcorn is attacking us!"

We both rolled our eyes before laughing and running downstairs. These sure were good times and nothing could stop them.

I highly doubt that.

Oh my god, I actually wrote something! :D Hope you guys like this one.

Oh and I'm thinking of writing an alternative ending for "Alone?". What do you think?

Also I won't write anything until the end of the month. I'll only try to draw the OC's requested in Total Drama Island (Grojband Version). :( Sorry.
