I swallowed,before hesitantly tilting myself toward Mei, "He's my familiar,"

"Oh, so you know him? He is familiar to you?"

I scoffed to myself and leaned closer to her.

"He is MY FAMILIAR. I'm a landgod, remember? " I whispered in a way more aggressive manner than usual.

"WHAT? Really? No way!" her jaw fell wide open, "Can you pretend I don't know him, please? I'm scared I'll get like, I don't know, thrown across the room or- or like made fun of if they know that I know him, I'd probably be strangely paired with him 90 percent of the time or something,"

"Shut up Mei," I sputtered out. "It's common knowledge, every person friends with the opposite gender gets called a couple, like- like atleast once.. or twice, or thrice," she raised her eyebrow, shaking her head in disbelief,

"Girls, is there something you'd like to add?" I shuddered at the teachers sterner voice, which snapped me out of my trance, "N-No," muttered Mei, "Good,"

"because I would like you to meet your new classmate," the teacher sighed, "please introduce yourself to the class, if you would,"

As he politely proceeded to do so, I watched the eyes of my classmates widen, as I had expected,

"Over there. " Tomoe pointed behind me, sitting down, the said seat coincidentally being next to Kuramas, I swallowed.

I was standing up on the rooftop at lunch, waiting for my Mei to show up. Well, instead I got another familiar face there. It's like a kid wishes for something SPECIFIC for Christmas, except they get the exact opposite of what they wanted. "Well well well, Y/n! How's it going for you?"

As I shuffled away from Kurama, coldly glaring at him. He opened his mouth to speak again.

"I actually have something to talk to you about.. " I then stopped what I was doing and looked up at him, cocking an eyebrow.

As I walked out of the door leading to the rooftop, I closed it right in time. As annoying as it was, nobody was used to seeing me like that so I was better off cooling down. By the way, what's taking Mei so long? Is she taking a shit the shape of a big ass octopus? Is she shaping the shit, making art? Is she saving that big shaped shit for later? Is she fermenting it?
