Understand Me ?? ??

The 11 hour flight was very overwhelming, I couldn't think right... It felt so exciting being able to regain such wonderful memories of my past.

//This is the flight attendant speaking, we would like to ask for you to return to your assigned seat, for we are are about to land//

The flight attendant spoke in english, then in spanish, french and korean... -"I wish I could understand..."- I whispered as I faced my head to the ceiling -"...It feels weird"-. I shook the thought out of the way and looked down at my friend, who was fast asleep on my shoulder, I giggled and poked her cheek -"JiNa, It's time to wake up..."- she didn't say anything back, she just turned to the window and mumbled something I could barely understand -"What?"- I asked,-"I don't...care"- she replied,-"hm...really?"- I replied with a smile on my face. -"mmhmm..."- she said. I glanced at the monitor in front of my seat and touched the 'Map' option, as soon as I did I said only 5 minutes remained until our landing. I leaned back on my seat and closed my eyes for a while until something poked my face -"Hye-Sang...?"- JiNa said -"Why're you going to sleep? We're almost there ya' know"-. I felt my eyebrow twitch,-"shh"- I shushed her -"I don't care"-. I felt JiNa get mad at me for shushing her, so I opened my eyes and turned to her, I smiled and said -"I actually do care"-. Time passed, the plane landed safely and we were taking our bags down for the bag compartment, I began to feel nervous once more...the line that leaded to the exit of the plane started to move, the adrenaline started to grow inside me as I took the final step out of the plane... I felt my heart start to beat even faster every second. JiNa and I walked through the gate and approached its exit...

Once I got out of the gate tunnel... My heart dropped. -"wow..."- I said, JiNa looking at me with a huge smile on her face -"Oh, this is nothing!"- she said. She looked away and told me to follow her -"Do you understand them?"- she pointed at the korean signs -"Or at least read them...?"-. I looked at the signs while we walked and tried to pronounce it -" 수집하는 수분...(to collect water)?"- I heard JiNa laugh, I guess I said it wrong... -"수집하는 수하불 as in collect luggage!"- she corrected me -"at least you tried"-. So we followed the 'collect luggage' sign, It was all so confusing to me since I had no idea on what anything said, I could barely read simple words such as: 환영(welcome),작별(farewell) & 화장실(restroom). We finally arrived to where we were going to collect our luggage, I stayed next to our bags, while JiNa got our luggage...It took a while for her to come back...I big while, I was about to go find her until I saw her approaching...with a guy?! -"안녕 혜상!(Hi Hye-Sang!)"- she shouted in korean while waving at me -"감사합니다!~(Thank you!)"- she thanked him, winked at him and waved good bye.-"W-who was that?!"- I hesitated,-"Cute, isn't he?"- she said -"I just met him"- -"JiNa!"- I said and facepalmed myself -"You're so weird"- -"Aish! Relax Hye-Sang!"- she scolded.-"Ok whatever!"- I said handing JiNa her bag -"Here"-. She grabbed the bag and continued her way to the airport's exit, i obviously followed her, until she stopped? -"JiNa?"- I asked, she didn't respond, she just moved forward, near the end of the sidewalk -"택시!! (Taxi!!)"- she shouted at the Taxi? A taxi approached her, she started to talk to the taxi driver through the car's window and face me, signaling me to approach her -"Come on, 혜상! (Hye-Sang!)"- I moved towards her and we both got into the taxi, the driver was nice enough to put our luggage in the taxi's trunk. -"이럴수가, 우리들을 재스민 정원이 주거?(Could you take us to Jasmine Garden Residential?)"- she said as I kept my mouth completely shut.

The time we spent in the taxi was boring, all I could do was look out the window, while JiNa talked with the driver in korean...I hate that feeling when you don't know a certain language, I feel they're making fun of me...The city looked beautiful! It was unique on its own, -"혜상!! Look! WonderUs Magazine Studios!"- JiNa pointed out a tall and flamboyant building. We then approached a place that I supposed was a residence, It was filled of flowers from the outside and I guess it was the signature of this place, the driver drove the taxi stopped near the residence's main lobby and got out of the taxi with our luggage -"여기를 건괜찮을 꺼야 (Here will be fine)"- JiNa told him and payed him a certain amount of money for the drive. As we grabbed our luggage, a young man who looked somewhat our age, ran passed us, he looked in a hurry all while holding a bunch of papers and a photography camera -"죄송 소녀들!! 용서! 택시로 나가있어도 나가야해요!! (Sorry girls!! Pardon! Taxi don't leave!!)"- he cried as the taxi started to move, fortunately he got one before it was gone, I looked at JiNa and said -"What was that about?"-, she replied -"Hm...I have no idea...but whatever, let's get our room"-. I waited in the lobby, while JiNa did all the talking and paper work,-"혜상! Let's go!!"- she called and I followed her over to the room <<I feel like a puppy on a leash following her owner.... Ohh the importance of knowing a language>> We got to the room and it looked amazing! It had a pretty white kitchen, a dining area, a beautifully decorated main room and of course the bedrooms, JiNa decided to go to her room, while I stayed amazed at the furniture and decoration, I think JiNa's father bought all this stuff, just like everything else.-"Do you like it?"- said JiNa,-"Y-yes!"- I stuttered in shock,-"My dad bought it for the two of us"- she replied and pointed to one of the bedrooms -"Why don't you see your room 혜상?"-. I moved towards the room and just looked at the room -"It's....plain?"- of course it was plain, it didn't have anything! There was only a queen sized bed with yellow flower sheets, -"I told my dad not to buy you anything, until you got here...I know how much you like yellow, so I picked out these"- she smiled and sat down in the nicely done bed -"that was nice of your part"- i replied with a smile on my face, -"감사...?(Thanks?)Thank you..."- I scrambled the words in my head as I tried to say it. -"No problem, I just thought you'd like to decorate it yourself..."- she giggled -"OH! Wait here!"- JiNa got out of the room and came back in with a bunch of magazines in a matter of seconds. On the cover page the big title said 'WonderUs' kinda like 'Wondrous' and the same model in every cover, JiNa seemed to notice that -"That's WonderUs exclusive model! Her name is Kang Soo-Yeon (강수연), you might meet her!"- I looked at her with a concerned look, -"Yes! We're going to work at WonderUs Magazine!! That's the whole purpose of this trip wasn't it?"- she was right though... I feel so weird, like if something special was going to happen.
