A book started it all // sanegiyuu

"Oh fuck." Sanemi realized.

"What the fuck!" Giyuu whisper-yelled.

Mitsuri sighed, puffing up her cheeks, and laying her head on the table smiling. "My ships always work out!" She cheerfully said.

"And how do you know we won't break up uh... i dont know, tomorrow." Sanemi bluntly said.

"I just have a feeling!" She smiled.

Time skip to 4 years later. Sanemi and giyuu have moved into their own apartment, and it's their 4 year anniversary of dating.

"You got everything ready?" Sanemi whispered to the 10 of them.

"Yup!" Mitsuri cheerfully said.

"You ready sanemi?" Shinobu laughed.

"Hope so, got candles, rose petals, the night sky, im in a dress shirt, i have the tie, and of course," sanemi motioned his hand to an object in his hand. "he couldn't say no, we've been dating for 4 years, we graduated together." Sanemi rambled, he was nervous.

"He isnt gunna reject you sanemi." Uzui hit him on the back.

"Don't worry nemi." Genya put his hand on Sanemi's shoulder.

"Yeah sanemi." Tanjiro lightly smiled at him, giving him reassurance.

The door handle rattled.

"Fuck he's home! Hide!" Sanemi shoved uzui and genya away, as he ran out to his balcony. The rest of them hid.

Giyuu opened the door, coming back from work.

He saw rose petals, in a path, with candles. Giyuu slowly walked up the stairs, the house hasnt ever been this quiet. Giyuu turned his head, following the path, to see sanemi out on the balcony, waiting patiently for giyuu.

Giyuu walked up to sanemi.

"Whats going on?" Giyuu whispered.

"Giyuu Tomioka." Sanemi started. "We've been dating for 4 years, and I love you."

Giyuu laughed lightly. "Yeah, its our four year anniversary."

Sanemi smiled. "So in honour of that.." Sanemi dropped down to one knee, pulling out a small box from his black dress pants. "Will you marry me?"

Giyuu was shocked, he clasped his hands over his mouth, tears forming in his eyes, suddenly, fireworks shot up.

Giyuu laughed. "Yes, of course sanemi." He pulled sanemi up, and kissed him.

"FUCK YEAH!" Uzui yelled.

"Told you sanemi." Mitsuri cheered. "Told you double!"

Giyuu looked over to everyone, and laughed.

Sanemi gracefully grabbed giyuus left hand, and slowly slipped on his engagement ring.

Giyuu laughed, kissing sanemi once again, once they pulled apart, sanemi slowly wiped giyuu's tear.
