ANNE, AS A SORT of good luck wish, you suppose, takes you shopping once more. They're more serious about the activity this time, although they don't force you to try on any clothes you don't like. Instead, they just offer feedback when you do try it on.
It's as if you're playing a guessing game to what fits you best. You supply the outfits, and Anne offers feedback.
A shirt you tuck into new pants with a flannel over it? It certainly fits your comfort zone. Put it down for yes.
Gray overalls paired with a white shirt? You would be cute in that! Gosh, I might just have to steal you from the twins like actually.
A floral patterned shirt that doesn't quite look the way you thought it would. Let's try something else, that fits a bit too snug.
The outfit Anne chose for you consists of a simple shirt and a soft-colored jacket. Aww, you're adorable! Now here, loop this belt through the pants and we'll tuck the shirt in. See? Even better.
Of course, that doesn't mean Anne doesn't get their turn playing dress-up. They bring a larger pile than yours into the dressing room, and you try your best to offer them feedback as well.
A turtleneck and peach-white checkered skirt with a button-up black jacket over it. The skirt color suits you. You should get that.
A light pink crop top and a suspender skirt. That's cute, I like how it looks on you.
A very casual lounge set, pink-themed. Oh, that looks comfy. We should have another movie night or sleepover where you can wear that.
They sneak in their face share of clothes for others, recommending a shirt for Nayuta and a beanie for Kanata. In return, you point out long jackets that might fit Hajun, and a few stickers and trinkets Allen might grace his desk with. You both agree Dongha would be fine with a cute pair of shoes, but neither of you is told his shoe size despite the pestering.
The two of you go from one store to the next and the next, going through a whole shopping street of shops, not all of which supply clothes only.
You eventually both collapse in the booth of a restaurant, bags pooling over the bench and onto the floor bellow. Finally settling in for a moment of peace, you feel as if you can doze at any moment.
"That bad, huh?" Anne asks as you rest your head in your arms on the table. They reach out to pat your head, long fingers catching on the occasional tangle as they comb through what they can of your hair.
"I'll need to become a recluse for a few days after this." You mumble. "The drained energy is starting to set in."
"Well, lucky you." Their hand finally stops, Anne flipping through the shop's menu. "This place has amazing cakes. Cheesecake is the specialty, but there's always classic cake or anything else you'd like."
The beauty across from you taps the menu on your head once, twice, just enough so that you're encouraged to sit up and comb through the list.
