After Five Years

"When do you think the Traveler and Aether will be?" Xiangling questions, skipping along a path with a few other people.

"Well when we see them again, it will be quite the big change" Xingqiu chuckles. Xiangling looks over at her two friends, who are both three years older than her. They started dating about seven years ago, when they were both fifteen. Lumine always teased them about when they get married.

"I hope they come back soon" Chongyun frowns. Xingqiu smiles at him.

"Don't worry my liege. I'm sure they will both be back soon". Chongyun smiles and nods at his boyfriend.

"How soon do you think that will be through?" Yun Jin questions. She was walking next to them. Xinyan and Yanfei were with them, but both of them had something to do so they end up leaving early.

Xiangling looks up at the sky, a smile gracing her face. "I'm sure it'll be soon, I can feel it. Plus Guoba told me so".

"We'll take your word for it" the other three chime together.

(A few hours later)

"Why are we all gathered here at the Harbor?" Keqing questions. For some reason, almost everyone in Liyue was summoned to the Harbor. Even Beidou's crew and herself were there.

"I don't know. He even called us all here?" Shenhe responded. There were so many people here that there was barely any space to move around.

"Actually Beidou, speaking of which, where is Kazuha?" Ningguang questions, looking around for Beidou's special crew mate.

"He decided to stay on the ship with his two lovers. I believe both are from Inazuma, but one of them moved to Sumeru recently. They all decided to meet up since we were coming here" Beidou shrugs, a smile forming on her lips.

"Ah so he has two boyfriends. I can't exactly say that I'm surprised" Ningguang sighs. Beidou raises a brow to her.

"How could you tell they were both boys if you've never seen them before?" Beidou pondered. Ningguang couldn't hold back her chuckle.

"Beidou. Do you seriously expect me to believe that Kazuha has any interest in females. That's like me saying that a bird and a fish are the same thing".

At that point, Beidou bursts out laughing.

"Zhongli, are you sure they're coming today. There's only 30 minutes left until midnight" Childe whispers. Him and Zhongli had been the ones to call everyone to the Harbor, and it would be really awkward if they did it all for nothing.

"I'm sure they're coming back today" Zhongli nods. Childe gives him an unsure look but decides not to press on it and just believe him.

However, like Zhongli's words were magic. A giant light appeared at the docks of the Harbor, taking everyone there by surprise.

"WHATS HAPPENING!" someone screams. People start chattering left and right.

"All of you are so loud" someone's voice erupts. Everyone looks over at the portal, from which the voice came.

"Stop being mean to them, they were just caught by surprise" a second voice scolds.

"Wait a minute. I recognize both of those voices!" Xiangling yells, her eyes widening.

Two people come out of the portal. Their golden hair making both of them immediately recognizable.

"Hey. Long time no see" Aether states, his hand raising in the air, waving at everybody. Lumine stands there smiling before running down and hugging a bunch of her friends.
