"Hey Jared!"
"Megan," I said when I have her a hug. "So good to see you."
"Yeah, you too. I have more food in the car, these are just rolls."
I took the coverd platter and took it into the dining room. Sam sat at the table, drawing dragons.
"Hey, my sister is here."
Sam packed their stuff up and followed me to the living room and they put the stuff on the couch. I went back out to help Megan. She was at the car getting stuff out, which was the last platter. I closed the car door and I followed her back to the house. When we entered I took the plate and put it into the dining room.
I came back out the to living room and Megan sat on the other end of the couch from Sam. Sam was staring at their open sketchbook, ignoring Megan.
"Um, Sam this is Megan," I motioned to my sister. "And Megan, this is Sam, my kid."
Megan cleared her throat. "Hey, what are you drawing?" Sam went over and showed her the page, which was now a page of colored squares with small drawings on them. "That's very creative."
Just then the doorbell rang. I quickly went over and the last three people of my family stood at the door. My mom quickly hugged me, my dad and brother just stood there awkwardly.
"Let's put those into the kitchen."

Jared showed his family a tour of the house, I decided not to follow them around. I, obviously, knew the layout of the house and I am comfy were I'm at. Megan wasn't with me, I don't understand why but I feel uncomfortable. I started to rock myself, and then Jared's family started to laugh loudl. My anxiety said they were laughing at me, but the logical part of me said they weren't. I couldn't help myself from chewing on my fingers.
Jared's family came back down from upstairs, but Jared wasn't with them. They went into the kitchen, not paying much mind to me. Jared finally came down and I whined for him.
"Aw, " He came over to me and picked me up. "It's okay, baby."
He ran his hand through my hair as he went into the kitchen. Megan saw me and 'awwed'.
"Okay, that's adorable." Jeffrey said.
"Heh, yeah." Jared said, patting my head. "I got to put you down, buddy."
"Can I hold them?" Jeffrey slowly asked.
Jared said yes and gently gave me to Jeffrey. He held onto me a bit too tight, but it's okay. Jared's sister and mom left to go to the dining room. Jared checked the turkey while his dad unwrapped the food. Jeffrey twirled a thick strand of my hair as he carried me to the dining room. He set me down and left.
I sat between two chairs, hopefully Jared sits next to me. The turkey was brought out by Jared and he put it in the middle of the table.
"Okay, um, dig in. I guess."
I didn't like turkey that much, I'll just eat some Mac and Cheese and dinner rolls with too much butter, along with mashed potatoes. I patently waited for everyone to get their food, I'm in no rush. Jared forced me to get food before he did. I filled my plate with the hot food and then sat down next to Jeffrey.
Jared began to whisper to his dad, I couldn't make out most of the words. I herd my name, and him saying please. Jared then sat next to me, his head turned to his dad. He turned to his food, and then flashed me a smile and began to eat. I slowly started to eat.

Darkness surrounded me. A tiny candle lit the closterphopic room. But the wick was almost burnt out. Not too soon the flame stopped its light. Just darkness, no faint color in my eyesight, or even the faint shadows I can see. Barely audible laughter replaced the ringing in my ears. The darkness began to speak.
