I walked in my front door with Cooper as we just parted ways with Justin and Rachel. I didn't see anyone so I went to check my parent's bedroom thinking they were asleep but they were not there. When I walk back in the kitchen I see a note ' Abbie sweetie I am so sorry but my job has moved me to Hawaii for 2 years, your dad and brother have agreed to come with me so I am so sorry to leave you alone. "Cooper!'' I call "yeah?" he says coming out of my bedroom "read this," I say as he reads over it "what! They left you here" "yeah.." he hugs me "it will be okay how about we go back to my house, pack up some things and you can stay there" "okay.." I say. I did what he said. I packed my stuff and we went over to his house. When we got inside his brother was standing at the kitchen counter "your back," he said, "yeah where is mom?" Cooper asks, she comes out of her room "I heard my name, oh Abbie!" "mom, Abbie's parents left" cooper explains "what do you mean left?" "he means they packed their stuff and left and they won't be back for 2 years!'' I shout a tear rolling down my cheek " two years! Where did they go?" his mom asks "Hawaii'' I answer "oh sweetie do you want to stay here?" she asks I nod "yes please and '' I continue. I look at Cooper and he nods "I'm pregnant" I say. His mom was in shock at first but then processed it "how long?" she asks "3 months " I answer "well this is great'' she says "come here sweetie boys stay out here!" she says as she leads me into her room. "Okay this is a list of things you can and can't eat, a list of stuff to buy, a list of stuff to pack, and a how to be a dad for cooper" she hands me the lists "and by the way take avenge of cooper he will do anything for you," she says and I laugh. "Thanks, Mrs. Flynn '''' Abbie you have known me for years and you are caring for my grandbaby, call me mom" ''okay," I say and walk out "you well, she didn't put a curse on you?" Cooper asks "hey I don't cast curses," his mom says walking behind me "yeah you do" Noah shouts from the couch "Noah," she says in a stern voice and he goes back to watching his show. I move closer to Cooper and put my arms around his neck "I love you" I say "I love you too" he says grabbing my hips ''I'm tired" I whine "let's go to bed then" ''I don't want to go to bed!" I complain "then what do you want me to do about you being tired" he looks at the stuff in my hand "what's that?" "oh here" I hand him the 'how to be a good dad" list "really I don't need this mom" ''hey how do you know I gave that to her" his mom argues "because Abbie trusts me, right?" he asks me "yes but just go ahead and read it just in case," I say in a sweet voice "ugh fine whatever" he whines "don't use that tone with me, young man," I say walking upstairs "and grab my stuff please," I say going into coopers bedroom. Cooper looks at his mom in amazement did she just say ' don't use that tone with me young man' then proceed to order me to do stuff" cooper aks "yes she did and you should probably get to it fast because an angry pregnant woman is no fun" "cooper!" I call "coming!" he called up.
He sets my stuff down "you are becoming more like my mom every day you know that" Cooper says laying down on the bed "well thank you" I say putting a hand up to my chest "come here" he says pulling me onto his chest. I laugh and he cuddles me. The next morning when I wake up copper is gone I walk out of the room and to the top of the staircase, Noah looks up "the princess has awakened" he says doing a bow I roll my eyes and cooper looks up at me "hey princess" I laugh and come down the stairs Elle is sitting at her spot "hey Elle" I say "Abbie!" she says running up to me hugging me tight "careful, careful!" Cooper yells "sorry," she says backing up "it's fine cooper is just overprotective" "I am not!" "Yes you are Elle wouldn't hurt me from hugging me" I argue "I just want you to be careful" he explains " yeah you are just overprotective," Noah says. Cooper punches Noah on the shoulder and he laughs. Mrs. Flynn comes out of the kitchen "good morning Abbie" "good morning mom" cooper looks at me with a surprised look "she told me to call her that cooper close your mouth" he goes back to eating. I walk over to the kitchen "what can I do to help" I say grabbing the eggs and cracking them into a bowl "no you don't do anything you are pregnant" she says grabbing them from me "I can mix eggs" I argue "go sit down with cooper" she orders "ugh fine" I say walking back to the table "Abbie will you play dolls with me after breakfast" Elle asks "sure I would love that" I say "yay!" Elle screams, throwing her hands up in the air "calm down" Noah says moving her hands back down. "You are good with kids" Cooper whispers to me "you will learn" I whisper back.
