Chapter 5

JEONGYEON'S POV

YES, WE MADE IT!

At last, we've touched down in South Korea. We're grateful to have evaded that deranged woman. However, Tzuyu is still not quite herself. Curious about the incident on the plane earlier? Let me take you back...

FLASHBACK

(7 hours ago, on the plane.)

The majority of the passengers were asleep, given that we still had a good 6-7 hours before we reached South Korea. Lisa and I were engrossed in our newspapers, Seulgi and Jisoo were occupied with their phones, while Tzuyu and the passenger next to her were resting.

Suddenly, I noticed something odd.

"Is Chelsea trying to flirt with Chewy?" Lisa inquired.

That crazy woman was engrossed in conversation with a passenger, all the while throwing flirtatious glances, or rather smirks, in Tzuyu's direction. I suspected that our friend was oblivious to this. To the untrained eye, it might appear as though Tzuyu was staring back at Chelsea, but her sunglasses concealed the fact that her eyes were closed.

Could Chelsea have misinterpreted this? Damn it! I cursed under my breath.

"Yeon, go and inform Chewy," Lisa instructed. I nodded in agreement, preparing to rise and approach Tzuyu, but Chelsea beat me to it.

"Shit!" I heard Lisa curse.

What on earth was she planning to do?

Chelsea lowered her head, leaning in towards Tzuyu's ear. My eyes widened in shock as she audaciously bit Tzuyu's earlobe! Tzuyu flinched, freezing in place when she recognized who it was. Chelsea wasn't finished, though. She took Tzuyu's hand and guided it to her modest chest. We all swallowed hard, exchanging wide-eyed glances. We scanned the cabin, but everyone was asleep.

Then, a voice broke the silence.

"Excuse me, Miss, is it appropriate for you to flirt with my girlfriend?" A passenger next to Tzuyu confronted Chelsea, who merely raised an eyebrow in response.

A savior, perhaps?

"Oh, if you're her girlfriend, why was she flirting with me earlier? Did you see how she was staring at me? Like she was devouring me with her eyes." Chelsea retorted smugly.

Jisoo coughed conspicuously, and Seulgi patted her back.

"Maybe you're just dreaming," the passenger next to Tzuyu responded nonchalantly.

What a comeback!

"Excuse me?" Chelsea, Seulgi's ex, was taken aback.

"Am I in your way? You can go now," the passenger retorted sassily. I couldn't help but admire her attitude.

Chelsea shot a venomous glare at Tzuyu's girlfriend...I mean the woman who had come to Tzuyu's rescue before storming off. We quickly rushed over to comfort Tzuyu.

"Hey Chewy, how was it? I told you she had nice mountains," Seulgi joked, earning a swift smack on the head from Jisoo.

"Yah! Seriously? Is that your concern right now, Bear? Look at Tzuyu, she's clearly shaken," Jisoo retorted, gesturing towards Tzuyu.

We turned our attention to Tzuyu. She indeed looked deeply traumatized. And who wouldn't be? Being the target of such unwanted advances from a crazy person is far from pleasant. It's enough to make anyone feel sick rather than aroused.

"Oh, Miss, we're her friends. We can't thank you enough for stepping in earlier," Lisa said, flashing her most charming smile.

Easy there, Limario. Don't charm her too much, she might fall for you. I thought to myself

"Yes, we're truly grateful. You have no idea how much it means to us that you helped her," Jisoo added, with Seulgi and I nodding in agreement.

"No need to thank me. I noticed your friend was oblivious to what was happening. She had her eyes closed, probably resting, when that presumptuous flight attendant approached her and misread the situation," she explained, even though we had seen the entire incident unfold.

"I'm Jeongyeon, by the way. This is Lisa, Jisoo, Seulgi, and the one you helped is Tzuyu."

"I'm Jihyo," she introduced herself. We shook hands and exchanged warm smiles.

END OF FLASHBACK

Strolling side by side with Lisa, with Seulgi, Jisoo, and Tzuyu tagging along, we abruptly came to a halt. Our attention was hijacked by two midget women causing quite the spectacle.

One of them, sporting distinctive bunny-like teeth, was practically steaming with anger. Perhaps the other petite woman had ruffled her feathers. They seemed utterly oblivious to the curious, and somewhat amused, stares from the surrounding crowd.

"For someone so small, she's got a voice that could wake the dead. Does she have a megaphone lodged in her throat or something?" Seulgi mused from behind, referring to the irate bunny-toothed woman.

" What a scandalous woman," Jisoo stated in disbelief.

"We need to get moving! Tzuyu is still not feeling well. Plus, we need to prepare an explanation for what happened earlier," Lisa urged, nudging us forward.

Oh, yeah great! How we will explain it later to them?!
