One Big Misunderstanding

     "Oh, my god, I can't believe he asked me, I mean us to come. I wonder how many other girls he asked, hopefully just us!" I said enthusiastically. "Well, what if it's just a joke? Okay, now I'm getting paranoid." I bit my lip.

 

     "Oh, c'mon! You make it so hard to be happy, seriously think positive!" Jamie spoke, hoping I might stop thinking negative thoughts, I might as well think positive thoughts!

 

     "Well, okay. I'll think positive." I replied. I'm sure I'll be positive about things. If not, then I'll be nervous for a while. "Hey, are we gonna drink alcohol or no? I don't think we should drink too much. I mean well, we're turning eighteen next year but who cares, right?"

 

     "Yeah, maybe one, no more than one...okay." She replied to my mini debate. That'll work best just in case! We don't want to do something stupid! I could imagine myself doing some fucked up dance move that will embarass me even after I graduate from high school, having someone video taping everything I do, posting it on Youtube and it having a million views! Everyone in my school, relatives, random people around the world watching some drunk freak doing the most embarrassing thing ever. I just noticed i'm thinking negative thoughts!

     "Yeah, so back to clothes. Should I wear a dark purple tube top with light blue skinny jeans, a cute purple dress that matches my dark brown hair or a pair of blue jeans and a casual t-shirt?" I asked jamie wondering what to wear.

 

     "Well, the dress is cute...really brings out your deep blue eyes but if you're gonna be dancing, I would suggest at least leggings underneath."Jamie said.

     "You're right. I'll wear my skinnies with the tube top. And a cardigan over it. Just so...you know, people can't see down my shirt." Jamie rolled her eyes. "Do you know what you are going to wear?" I asked. She nodded like it was obvious. 

        "Dude, I was done like, an hour ago. You were still deciding what shoes you were going to wear then." She laughed.

     "Shut up. I just like to take my time okay?" God, I'm slow. " I thought you would have known by now that i'm slow as hell!"

     "Well I forgot, jeez, sorry it's not my falt!" Jamie said trying to be funny, which of course she was.

     "okay, i'll just wear the dress and put the black leggings with my open toe purple heels. Oh and the new purse I bought last week!" I said, looking in the mirror holding the dress up to me. " I'll just head on off to the bathroom to get dressed, so you can go downstairs and i'll be down in a second."  

     jamie got up and walked downstairs, you could here her heels hitting the floor, thunk thunk, while i walked into the bathroom, my messy, purple walls, green, pink and blue polka dot bathroom! "Ugh." i said while picking up a few towels and a pair of underwear!

     i quikly put my stuff on and ran down the sairs almost tripping on my way.I told my parents we were going to jamie's house, and I new we would get in trouble if i told where we were actually going so i lied.we were old enough to drive because we are seventeen. we got into the carand I drove off.
