A month later

It's been a month and Hailey is still with us. Not that I mind. I wouldn't say I adore her but she's good. Besides Freddie is really close to her. They both spend a hell lotta time together.

I still don't know what happened that day. She's not ready to talk about it yet. And I respect her decision. Imma not force her to spill anything.

And I'm 5 months pregnant now. My bump is much more bigger than last month. I also have the appointment scheduled for the ultrasound next weekend.

I looked at the clock, it's almost half past one. Freddie and Hailey will be back soon from the playground. Ever since she came, things have been little easy for me. I must admit I can't walk much with my bump.

The side effects of being pregnant is not very good. Sore breast, swollen feet, back pain 24/7, mood swings and on top of that taking Freddie to playground was just deadly task for me. So she's been a great help to me.

As I serve the food in the plate the door bell ranged. I placed the plates on table and head to the door.

"Maa! We had so much fun! Hailey is just so much fun!"
His voice echoed in the whole house as he hastily removed his shoes and head in the kitchen.

"I'm so hungry! I want some food!"

"Wash your hands first!"
I scream.

I smiled at Hailey and closed the door behind her.
"You too. Wash your hands and come in to the kitchen and have your lunch."

She saluted and nodded her head.
"Sure mom."
I laughed at her ridiculous reply.

"Come fast or I'll beat you as well."
I tease her.
She laughed and rush off to her room.

"You've became my second mother!"
She snuck her head outta the door and scream at me.

I raise my middle finger and flipped her off.

Shaking my head, I head to the kitchen.
Freddie was already on the table and ready to jump on his food.

"Wait!"
I yell with dominance in my voice.

Freddie freezes and looked at me with wide eyes. I narrow my eyes at him.

"Did you wash your hand?"
I ask him suspiciously.

He began to rub the back of his neck. Habit which he adapted from Hero. Since he does the same thing when I'm scolding him.

"Umm ye-yea! Yes I did!"
He smiled broadly.

"Don't lie to me Freddie. Go and wash your hands!"
I scold him.

"I'll after eating!"
He whine.

I frown.

"What's the point in that? There are germs on your hand baby. If you'll eat with dirty hand you'll get sick."
I tried to clear it out to him.

He frown and threw his hand. Slamming the fork on the table and jumped off the table.

What is this behaviour?

"Freddie Reign Langford Finneas Tiffin! Stop right there!"
I yell at him.

He stopped on his track, his back yet facing me.

"Turn around!"

He spun and looked at me with anger in his eyes.

What's wrong with him?

"I won't tolerate this behaviour Freddie! Change your attitude! This is not the way you behave in front of your mother!"

"But I just said I'll wash my hand after eating!"
He argue back with me.

"I'm telling this for your health young man! Go and wash your hand and finish your dinner right now!"

"I don't want to eat it anymore! You ruined it for me!"
He screamed on me.

I flinch from the rage in his voice.

"FREDDIE! How dare you disrespect the food like that?! What is wrong with you?! Why are behaving like this?! You were so happy when you came from the playground!"
I yelled.

"I want new maa! Hailey maa is so much better than you!"
