Aakash was pacing in his room frustratingly. His mind worked at the speed of light, thinking every possible ways to knock off Mehra from his life.
He exhaled a deep breath and texted something to Pugazh before going to Shruti. She was crying in Rakshan's embrace, sitting in the bed.
Rakshan was also a crying mess. Though he knew them for just past six years, they treated him as their own son. Being orphan, he felt the real love of parents in them.
He couldn't accept their loss at first place. Now they both couldn't even see or feel them one last time and gave a proper goodbye.
Aakash's heart pricked to see them both like that. He could never tell this truth to Shruti unless he save them both. He didn't wish to give her any false hopes.
He sat beside her and caressed her hairs softly. Shruti felt his presence and turned to him.
Shr: I...I wanna s..see them... o..one l..last time. P..please.
She wiped her tears and held his shirt tightly in her small fist.
Shr: Why didn't you tell them that their daughter can identify them? Why? Why did you let them? Come! Take me to the hospital. I will beg them and I will identify my mom dad. I wanna give them proper send off!
She shook him by his shirt but he remained silent, looking down.
Shr: fine! I will go on my own. I don't want anyone's help!
She tied her messy hair into bun and got down from the bed. Tears were flowing down her cheeks. She was about to run out of the room. But Aakash grabbed her waist and pulled her back.
Aak: Why can't you understand, Shruti? They are burnt! They burried them yesterday itself. None could identify them! Do you wanna disturb your parents more by dig their grave and take them out again. Do you think you can be happy after seeing them in such state? Do you think your parents soul will be happy after seeing you in such state? Let them rest in peace, Shruti. Please.
Shruti fell down on the floor and closed her face with her palm and cried heavily after hearing him. Aakash left them both to take their heart out and went to kitchen to prepare dinner for them.
His mind was just wandering how to save Prabhu and Saranya from Mehra. Being absent minded he took the pan in which he kept oil for puri was boiling with bare hand and skipped it due to hotness, resulting that fell on his feet.
Aak: Ammmaaa!
He screamed in pain.
Somewhere in dark place. Few people were shouting and screaming for help. Goons were standing outside that cell kind of place and being deaf to their shoutings.
Prabhu and Saranya were there too. They both were as tired and weak as others. Saranya held Prabhu's hand tight, clutching her heart.
Pra: ennachu, ma! Enna pannuthu!!
Sar: t..therilanga! Thidirnu avan... onnum illa. S...Shruti... enaku avala pakanumnga. En ponnu venunga.
She started crying. Prabhu got tears, but he behaved boldly for the sake of his wife and consoled her that they would escape from there somehow.
Hearing Aakash's scream, Rakshan and Shruti rushed to the kitchen.
Rak: machan!
Shr: Aakash!
They both helped him to sit on the dining table. Shruti brought a first aid box and started treating his feet.
Shr: injection potutu vanthurulam. Illana severe ayidum. Ippo yarunga ungakita sapadu keta? Yenga ippadi panni vachurikinga? Parunga eppadi reddish ayiruku. Konja konjama kopalam vanthurum. Valikum.
