9: The Strawberry Moon Princess

The next day ~

Jungkook woke up earlier— he was able to fall asleep peacefully last night. He went downstairs and saw Taehyung talking to Yuri... Jungkook closed his eyes. No need to be annoyed.

"He is awake—" Yuri pointed him. Jungkook looked at them and looked at Taehyung.

"Do you want to be my princess?" Taehyung asked him directly and Jungkook's cheeks become crimson red.

"Ha?! What are you talking about—" Jungkook said as he cover his nose using his hand feeling shy with the sudded question.

"I mean if it's okay with you..." Taehyung said.

"Aish— you know what— you are not good at explaining." Yuri butts in with their convo.

"Okay. Jungkook— I know you already know me. I'm here to ask you and Taehyung to act as the prince and princess for tonight's last celebration of the strawberry moon festival." She said. "I mean you don't want me to be paired with—"

"Okay! I mean I will be the princess." Jungkook said. Not thinking about his words— he just don't want Taehyung and Yuri to be together like no—

"See. Then it is settled— I'm going now. Please follow me at 9 a.m need to do some stuffs at the neighborhood." She said and left them alone. Taehyung stood up and looked at Jungkook whose cheeks are red as the strawberries.

"You have to wear a gown... are you okay with that? Comfortable with that?" Taehyung asked worriedly. Jungkook looked at him—

I like someone who will always ask me if I'm comfortable with the things I'm doing or we will do—

"I— yeah— I became princess once on our class back in college." Jungkook muttered sounding so proud of it. Taehyung smiled at him.

"I'm glad you are okay with it." Taehyung said and went to the kitchen. Jungkook followed him—

"Grandma and Grandpa are not around— they went to the market. I'm not a good cook that's why the pancakes are kinda burnt—" Taehyung said. "So just enjoy the milk and cereal instead." He said as he put away the burnt pancakes.

"Do you want some pancakes?" Jungkook asked.

"Will you make one?" Taehyung asked back looking so delighted when Jungkook asked. The younger chuckled seeing how adorably Taehyung is right now.

"Yeah— let me." Jungkook said and show off some of his cooking skills... and right there Taehyung was just watching him happily cooking for them. The older sometimes wish— why they have to fake everything when he is literally willing to make it real.

As soon as they finished eating Taehyung told him to freshen up first he will be doing the dishes instead. After that they went out of Taehyung's grand parents house and go to the city hall where the event will happened tonight.

Jungkook was just looking around— okay his eyes were actually fixed to his boyfriend... don't forget that it was fake. He was just watching Taehyung talking to everyone smiling and being friendly to anyone who greeted him in a friendly way— he is not sure if those people really know him or he was just being friendly.
