The Deaf Kid

Marinette and cat layed in bed. "I'm so sorry that I blacked on you guys", Marinette said sadly while apologizing.

Cat smiled, "it's ok I understand, you were raped and there's nothing I can do to change that", cat said looking down.

"Ya know after he was done I felt dirty, disgusted with myself. I didn't even feel normal I felt really different, like something was taken away from me", Marinette said.

Cat felt terrible he wanted to give her space. "Ok we don't have to work on the project today we'll do it another time, I wanna give you some space", he said getting up from her bed.

Marinette sighed, "yeah I guess so I just need to clear my head", cat nodded and walked out of her room.

The next day at school cat was in his locker getting his book for his next class. "Hey there", a voice said from beside him.

Cat gasped, "hey Marinette", he said while hugging her tightly. Marinette smiled, "so which class do we have next?", Mary asked.

Cat sucked his teeth, "ugh math", he said in an annoyed tone. Marinette giggled.

"Ok so you can walk me to class", Mary said locking hands with cat. Cat was shocked but still held her hand.

They walked to math class together while holding hands. While they did the girls started to whisper about them.

And cat got dirty looks from the guys... But he didn't care, once Marinette was next to him he knew he would be just fine.

After school Mary waited outside the gate for catnoir. "Heyy", cat said while he ran down the stairs.

Marinette smiled, "hey", she said. He got to her and started walking with her. Her parents weren't there as always. So they had to wait.

They were walking towards a bench when a red headed boy approached them. "Hi there Mary", Nathaniel said in a cheerful tone as he greeted her.

"Mary?", Cat asked confused. Marinette smiled, "hey Nathaniel", she said while hugging him. "So u-uh Marinette I was t-thinking maybe you would like t-to h-have lunch with me sometime?", The red headed boy asked while stuttering.

Marinette smiled akwardly. Now the thing with Mary is, she's wayyy to nice. So she felt like if she said no she would hurt his feelings.

So she said, "sure", cat chocked on air. Marinette looked at him confused. "Ummm s-so t-tomorrow evening?", He asked nervously while scratching the back of his head.

Marinette "mhmmed" in response. "But Marinette that's when we have the project to do", he said while looking at her.

Marinette looked at cat then Nathaniel and said, "ok we'll just have to do it after me and Nathaniel finish our lunch ok?", Cat sighed.

"I guess", he said hanging his head down. "Great see you tomorrow!!", He shouted in great joy. He then hugged her tightly. And cat watched sadly.

He let go of her and ran off. Marinette sat on the bench and so did cat, but he sat a little distance away from her.

Marinette was confused of why he sat so far away from her. "Cat? You ok?", She asked in a concerned tone of voice.

Cat didn't say anything he just stared blanky in space.
