it was was the band competition

the music club had an outstanding performance and the club was also celebrating for themselves

especially Jake and Hailey.

and at this moment

Jake and Hailey liked each other.

but, they both set it off as "just friends"

"You did great there Hailey..!"
Jake awkwardly says while rubbing the back of his neck

"You too.."

the club members noticed the awkward tension between the 2, and wanted to give them alone time 😏

they all walk off into the backstage

most of the people who came to watch left, and a few people stayed because they were talking, not paying attention to the stage

but some people also there, were Drew, Henry, and Liam.

they were watching the 2 onstage

"Hailey, there's something I need to tell you, I need to get it off my chest."

"O-Okay, what is it?"

Jake spun Hailey around and held her down
(like when your getting married, if that makes sense at all 😅)

Hailey is heavily blushing and it felt like her heart was gonna pound out of her chest

Jake kisses Hailey passionately

Hailey is shocked, a few seconds later though, melts into the kiss

they separate, looking into each others eyes as Jake is slowly carrying Hailey back up close to Jakes body

"PDA!!!"

Jake and Hailey both hear someone in the crowd scream it

they look over and see

DREW yelling it???

they look at each other completely embarrased

Hailey and Jake grab each others hand in sync and run to the backstage

they both start laughing

"Perhaps that was too public!"

Hailey laughs then walks over to Jake

stand on her tiptoes and gives Jake a peck on the lips

"I love you Jake."

"I love you too."

they hug for a few seconds

"S-so Hailey, are we like, a thing, now?"

Haileys eyes go wide, then separates herself from Jake

and you can see she starts blushing

"Yea, of course Jake! Only if your comfortable with it"

Jake cups Haileys cheeks

and gives her a kiss on the forehead

"I'm comfortable with it, just so everyone knows you're mine and only mine!"

Hailey giggles at the statement

they then both intertwine hands and walk out together, walking back to their houses in the night.
