"Oh, did you conveniently forget we just had the same breakfast earlier? Ah, I get it, maybe you blanked out after spending a solid two hours getting ready. Quite the morning workout, huh?" I quip with a sarcastic grin, trying to keep my cool.
She had already eaten breakfast before bothering to get ready. If I hadn't intervened and called Auntie to give her a wake-up call, she probably wouldn't have budged from her bed.
"Oh, yeah, maybe, maybe," she responds dismissively. "So, can we go now? I'm excited, you know!"
Excited your ass. Who claims they're thrilled to go when they can barely summon the energy to move? Only your dear cousin, of course. Who else?
"Oh, really? Your excitement is practically radiating, Unnie," Ryujin jokes, her tone light.
Chaeyoung slings her right arm around Ryujin's shoulder, whispering something to her that I can't quite catch.
"Why the whispering? You can speak up, you know," I interject, a hint of annoyance creeping into my voice.
It's not a big deal, I just feel a bit irritated. But they simply brush me off. How could they?!
"You've got friends there? That's great, Unnie. I thought it was just us and Nayeon Unnie's girls. Nice to know you've got other pals there," Ryujin remarks.
Friends? But I thought she'd never even set foot on our university grounds. How does she have friends there? Not that I'm not happy for her, but I'm just curious how that's possible when she's never been there. Oh well, maybe they're old friends. I shrug it off.
"Are you two done with your gossiping? Can we finally get going? Time doesn't wait around for gossip sessions, you know," I remark, crossing my arms over my chest.
"We're just having a chat, Nayeon. Didn't realize you couldn't tell the difference between that and gossip," Chaeyoung says, shaking her head with a hint of mock disappointment.
Can you blame me for being a bit harsh with her sometimes?
I roll my eyes. "If you're not ready to leave, I'm heading out. I refuse to be late," I announce, striding ahead.
Arguing with her is like trying to reason with a four-year-old—it's utterly pointless.
They trail behind me, giggling away. Seems like they're enjoying getting under my skin.

(THEIR OOTD)
Despite the early hour, Irene, Sana, Rosie, and I have already staked our claim on campus, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Nayeon. With a shared 8:30 am class looming, time is of the essence.
"I just got a text from Nayeon. They're on their way," Sana relayed with a grin, breaking the morning silence.
As we bide our time, Irene sparks a conversation, "So, what's everyone thinking about clubs this year?"
