The next day started in an odd form. To Yuji, it was because of another vivid dream of him being intimate with Y/N. However, to the girl it's a bad day because of this suspicious mission the students were sent to.
Gojo simply disappeared with a not convincing excuse and suddenly there was a special grade just waiting for them. Any other sorcerer requested, just the rookie ones.
"This is not right." her words caught the other's attention, and the trio looked at her with questionable faces. "This is bullshit."
"What do you mean, Y/N?" Yuji asked worriedly.
"This is a trap, can't you guys see?" she said stopping in front of them, back to the door that leads to the inside of the Detention Center.
"Fukumoto, surely is odd that they trusted such a dangerous mission to us, but-"
"With Gojo outside the town, no backup, and definitely a Sukuna's finger inside this place, I must add."
"How do you know?" Nobara asked eyes widening.
"Aren't you Jujutsu Sorcerers? Any of you can't feel the energy?" the trio looked between themselves shamelessly.
"Why would they send us to a trap though?" Yuji asked.
"To force Sukuna out? To force me to show my true power? To kill us and affect Gojo? The list is immense."
"So what? We can't let the people inside just die, Fukumoto!"
"They're already dead." the girl dropped the bomb bluntly.
"How do you know?!" Nobara is getting pissed with her always avoiding questions. "Forget it! Let's go already, we don't have time for this shit."
Walking to the door, the brunette opened it harshly, revealing an obscure place. Sighing, Y/N decided to say nothing more and just watch them suffer. Quietly following the trio, the girl was aware all the time of the curses lurking around the group.
It was just a matter of time before the special grade find them, sending Nobara and Y/N to another part of the Innate Domain, away from the males. The latter swearing at herself for letting this happen, all of her attention on the boy's life now.
"I could get some help in here!" Nobara screamed for her and only now Y/N saw how many curses are around them.
"Finally some fun!" she smiled widely with a devious expression, bringing the scythe to her hand.
In a frenetic way, Y/N sliced through the curses, bathing herself in its blood gladly. The other girl watched in shock at how she just changed so abruptly at the sight of something to kill. In seconds all curses were gone.
"I told you it was a trap." Y/N said, crouching down to the brunette, that's very injured. "C'mon, I can carry you."
Nobara only nodded, not knowing what to say or do in fear. Putting the girl on her back, Y/N walked away, encountering Megumi on the way, who said that Yuji stayed behind to distract the curse. This got her worried and she was about to go back when Sukuna's presence came to her senses. Somehow this made her feel relieved, thinking that now Yuji is safe.
