ALI AND AISHA

Zoya and Aisha began to discuss on how she Aisha can relate well with Prince Ali and speak to him in a calm manner. Out of the blue Raheem came into the scene and said,"Sorry to interrupt your conversation but mum and dad wants to see Aisha." After he gave the information he left with a sad countenance. Aisha and Zoya wondered what it was why she was called. She entered the living and to her surprise it seemed to be a family meeting. In a confused manner Aisha asked,"What is going on here?"

Her mum smiled and it was giving Aisha a signal of good news. Aisha smiled back and slowly sat by her mum and said,"Mum tell me, what is good about the news you have?" Her mother replied,"Oh dear. The one to redeem us from poverty is here. The finance minister of great Persia Mr. Awal Muhammad. The man who asked for your hand in marriage." Aisha's countenance changed, looked at him in disgust, stood up and left their presence.  She quickly went to her room, felt unto her bed and began to cry.

Zoya went to hold her up and wondered if it was the finance minister's marriage that made her burst into tears. Zoya said,"Baby girl it's okay. Calm down" Aisha replied,"How do you expect me to calm down when they are giving me to a disgusting good for nothing rich old man." Zoya in shock said,"That's harsh my dear. Those are harsh words to say about an elderly person. Even though he might not match up to your specifics doesn't mean you should use that to judge and respect him. After all maybe he was your specific person you wanted to marry when he was as young as you are." Aisha surprisingly looked at Zoya and said,"How dare you say that to me?" And in anger gave Zoya a slap on her cheek.

Zoya looked at her in shock and said,"Aisha? You...slapped...." Aisha replied saying,"Do I look like a woman who follows womanisers. I wouldn't dare go for any lunatic man who cannot control his manhood when his eyes falls on other women!" Zoya looked at her in shock and surprise, picked her stuffs and slowly left the house. Aisha continued to cry and it even grew worse when she thought Zoya too agrees on the fact that she should marry the old man.

Early in the morning Prince Ali as usual dressed like a stranger and came into the town forgetting he has to meet Princess Zaina as he promised. He went to meet up with Ayan and Achraf. Ayan said,"Should we call you Prince Ali of Ababwa or Ali Baba." Ali looked at them in a confused manner and asked,"Why do you ask that?" Achraf said,"Do you remember the story of Aladdin when the genie turned him into a prince, so that he would have the chance to marry Princess Jasmine. And that's what you are doing. For you can't marry a common citizen or civil servant."

Ayan continued,"Or Ali Baba and the forty thieves. You're called Ali and....never mind. You're yet to catch a thief." And they burst into laughter. Ali asked,"Guys, can you take me to Aisha." Ayan said,"Wait...did I hear you right. You want to go and see Aisha, after what she did to you." Ali replied,"I've got some scores to settle and other personal stuffs." Achraf replied mockingly,"Why? What's up with the princess. Have you guys separated." Ali mockingly too said,"We haven't you dumb head." So they decided to escort Prince Ali to Aisha's working place.

On their way they saw Aisha's work place closed and saw Zoya passed without greeting them. Ayan shouted,"Zoya why are you being rude to us today? Not even a good morning?" Zoya turned and said,"What is it guys?" Ali answered,"Please we want to know where Aisha is?" She replied,"Oh Aisha.." She came closer to Ali and whispered saying,"Are you not the famous Prince Ali." Ali looked at her very confused. She realised it and said,"No worries. I already know everything but I can keep it a secret if you want to. In case you don't know me I'm Zoya." She refrained a  bit and said,"She's at home crying over getting married to that old man. And I doubt if her parents will let you in."

Achraf said,"What about you? Why are you not with her right now?" Zoya sighed and said,"It's a long story my friend." Ayan replied,"Anything long can be cut short. So cut the long story short." There she told them the quarrel she had with Aisha and how it all happened. Zoya said,"I don't know how you're going to get in there to talk to Aisha." Ayan said,"Don't worry, leave it to master mind Prince Ali." She smiled and they both parted ways.

They finally got to Aisha's house and planned of approaching her parents like as if they sell clothes, there Ali would get the chance to get to see Aisha. Achraf and Ayan went on to distract Aisha's parents whiles Ali passed through the window into Aisha's room. Aisha was about to scream and Ali said,"Shhh...I'm not here to harm you. I'm here to make up to me." Aisha scoffed and said,"Make it up to me? I should be the one making it up to you." Ali looked surprised and smiled.

Aisha said,"Ali, I know you wouldn't believe me but I'm telling you the truth. I'm sorry for the way I spoke to you. I should have regarded you as a prince rather than calling you a womaniser and insulting your ancestors." Ali said,"I won't deny the fact that I was really hurt but I'm also sorry for calling you Aisha baby." Aisha laughed and said,"Don't be. That's what my friends call me. But I was trying to be hard on you just because of those things I heard about Kings. Moreover I can see you're kind of different." Ali replied,"I'm always me Aisha." Aisha smiled and gave him a hug. He was thrilled at the fact that Aisha hugged him. Aisha said,"That was me accepting you as a friend and thanking you for your forgiveness." Ali replied,"Okay.....Hey! Would you like to join me for a walk?" Aisha answered,"Sure. Why not."
