Happy new month beautiful people 💖.

My body felt so weak that opening my eyes were a challenge. They fluttered open for more than two minutes till they adjusted to the blinding light. First thing my brain articulated was that my hands were chained, and the chains were so long I suspected they reached the ceiling. I couldn't feel any chains on my legs, and when I looked down there weren't any.

The room was extremely large, and I was at the centre of it chained like an animal. The disturbing thing was that there were a couple of seats around, and wierd markings on the ground that didn't make sense.

There were also three women in the room. Vampires I could tell. They kept speaking in low tones, and no matter how hard I strained my ears I heard absolutely nothing.

"Get me down from here ", I mumbled, aware that their keen ears could hear me. My throat felt very dry, almost like I hadn't had water to drink for days.

Days ...

How long have I been here ?

My eyes moved down to my body. I was still putting on my dress from the safe land party.

Why did I feel so numb inside ? Like there was something that I couldn't remember. And what was that feeling around my heart telling me that that was just the beginning ?

"Get me down from here ", I repeated.

Three of them ignored me.

I groaned. I had a huge headache, I pressed my forehead to my arm. I felt like my head was about to explode.

One of the vampires, walked over to me with a syringe filled with a red liquid. Her crimson eyes met mine, not a vampire a demon.

Devon ... Where was Devon ?

My headache got worse.

She stroked my hair softly. Almost the way my mother did, but I knew the action was anything but loving. Her lips stretched in something that looked like a reassuring smile.

"It isn't time", she said, a wierd accent ringing in her tone.

My brows furrowed.
" What are you talking about ?".

She injected with me without the slightest warning, and it felt like fire was shooting through every part of me.

I screamed, and struggled against the chains as black spots painted my vision.

"Sleep healer", she whispered.

Somehow the pain overpowered me, and darkness pulled me in.
