Sophie didn't know what to say.

She glanced at Gisela, but the shocked, confused expression on Keefe's mothers face exactly mirrored hers. As did all of her friends. They waited anxiously for the figure to say something else, but while drifting in mid air, the woman, Elysian, began circling their group slowly and studying each one of them intently.

"What's going on?" Maruca asked. Her palms were still raised, as if she'd stopped mid action.

The figure didn't answer. Instead she stopped drifted slowly down until her feet landed gently on the ground.

"What do you mean, your the power source?" Keefe demanded.

"I mean exactly that. It doesn't surprise me, however, that the councilors have chosen to erase me. I'm far too dangerous for anyones knowledge." Elysian replied matter of factly.

Sophie was still speechless. Her mind was racing, trying to connect the pieces. But as she ran through everything she knew about Elysian, the more the spectacle ahead of her made no sense. "How are you here?" She asked.

"Wouldn't you like to know." The figure launched herself gently air borne again as she drew closer to Sophie. "You and I are so simalar, I see. But yet you do not understand."

"You said we weren't meant to," Fitz jumped in, before Sophie could ask what she meant.

"I suppose I did." Sophie got the feeling that Elysian was smiling.

"Who are you?" Gisela snapped. Sophie jumped. She'd forgotten that Keefe's evil mother was still standing with them.

"The woman form both worlds." Elysian answered calmly. "Something none of you will be able to grasp."

"Both worlds?" Sophie's mind was racing. It all felt like too much.

"So many questions." Elysian shook her head. "To think that you are the frost creatures I've spoken to in many millennia."

"Well, you can't really appear out of thin air and tell us you're  the power source that we thought was a bunch of old rocks, and expect us to just be like, 'okay! New Mystery lady that's totally creepy! I'm not confused at all!" Keefe told her.

Elysian turned to study him, and walked closer, until she was merely feet from Keefe. "I sense that you are unwell. This is the first harnessing I've seen of Stellarlune, but looking at you, I do not think it went so well."

Keefe's face turned slightly pale. "That one's all on her." He jabbed a finger at his mother.

Gisela rolled her eyes, but took advantage of Elysians curiosity. "He didn't follow the directions I gave him. He isn't accepting his new powers, so if he decides to keep this up, they will tear him apart. And I believe, if you are really the power source, that you can fix that."

Sophie shuddered.

"I could." Elysian agreed. "But I won't- at least, not yet."

"Don't do it!" Sophie exclaimed before she could stop herself. "She'll make things worse! Can you heal him?"

"Heal?" Elysian reeled on Sophie. "Physically, I could. But the trauma would be far to much to bare. Stellarlune is harder to remove than to implant."

None of sounded good. "Can you-"

Gisela waved her off. "She is not aware that these changes would be the most helpful towards my son. I'm building him a far better life than he could ever imagine."

"Is that so?" Elysian turned back to Keefe. "Then why is he attempting to overthrow you, at all costs? Why did he resist his powers?"

"He is stubborn, but he will learn." Gisela answered, sauntering towords her son. She reached for him, but Keefe away, shaking.
