Napping after work has got to be the best feeling ever. Unfortunately, I couldn't nap long since I have to study for my exams, but Luke doesn't care. We're in my living room and Luke is laying on his side with his head on my lap, his arm dangling off the couch while I use one hand to play with his hair and my other to flip the pages of my textbook.
It's a very uncomfortable position to be studying in, but I can't exactly move.
He's snoring a little and it's so cute in a weird way. I love him with every single ounce of my heart. It's scary to love someone so much, but I enjoy the feeling. It's soothing to know that you love someone and they love you just as much.
Soon, I stop scratching behind his ears and he still doesn't move. He's a pretty deep sleeper so he doesn't do anything other than adjust his position and breath in really deep through his nose.
He tries snuggling closer to me and I can feel my legs go numb. I continue to study my semester's work when I finally give up by shutting the book and throwing my head back with a groan.
I look back down at Luke to see a lazy smile on his face while his eyes are still shut. Someone is having a good dream. "Luke wake up." I stroke his hair back. He doesn't budge. "Wake up." I shake him a bit, but he's out cold. I bend down to place a kiss on his temple, his nose, his cheek, and nothing.
I stick my cold fingers in his neck, wiggling it as I laugh evilly. I know it tickles him when he scrunches his shoulders up. "Get up! I want to watch the sunset!" He finally wakes up, rubbing his eyes.
"Let's watch the sunset." He nods, sitting up. I laugh a little when I see his hair practically standing up. "Come on!" I stand up suddenly, pulling him with me as we walk out onto the fire escape. He's still waking up which means he's extremely clingy and touchy. This is my favourite type of Luke.
"Holy macaroni! It's freezing out here! My nipples could cut glass!" I cover my boobs with my hands and he is so tired I don't think he understands anything I say. He's just nodding and smiling at me.
I rush back inside and grab the blanket off my couch before I wrap it around Luke and I sit on his lap. He wraps his arms and the blanket around me and rests his head on my shoulder.
"It's so pretty! Luke isn't it pretty?" I question aloud as we sit back and watch the sky change colors, the sun setting over the tall buildings. "Are you going to answer me you tired mother fucker?" A small smile appears on his lips and then he just nods.
Why's he tired? He got the world's longest nap on my lap.
I look down at his shirt and at the bottom right I see three letters embroidered on it. It's also on the hoodie I'm wearing that I stole from him. "What's this?" I question, showing him the little details on the hoodie and his shirt.
