Angels Like You// Taekook

"You're finally awake" a female voice said the moment Taehyung snapped his eyes open.

The Omega immediately jolted awake and his head ached and spin from the sudden move.

"Fuck!" He groaned painfully as rushed back to his initial position.

He didn't even make the effort of opening his eyes because he knew that Mrs Jeon is probably looking at him with disappointment.

Yesterday's event played tricks in his head.

He was drunk, angry, hurt and dumb so when Minho kissed him, he didn't even pull away, he thought it was right, right to let another man kiss him since his so called 'fated mate' doesn't give a shit about him...

"Here's your painkiller. Jungkook said you'd need it" Mrs Jeon softly trailed as she offered a medicine and a glass of water to the Omega.

Taehyung finally opened his eyes and winced a little from the harsh sunlight which hit his eyesight.

"Thank you" the Omega cracked out as he took the medicine and gulped it down directly before drinking the water with it.

Once finished, Taehyung placed the empty glass on the nightstand next to him and finally dared redressing himself a little without wincing in pain.

Mrs Jeon was sitting next to him, looking at him with so much intensity and deep down, Taehyung knew that she was dying to say something.

However, the Omega didn't push it, he doesn't want to hear how mad or disappointed she is.

"Jungkook and the twins already went to school" Mrs Jeon started quietly and carefully.

"Look Taehyung, I know what you feel but-"

"You don't know what I feel! No one knows and understands me!" Taehyung snarled firmly.

No one fucking knows how it feel to be him, to feel so insecure about himself and consumed by an immense anger every time his supposed boyfriend goes out with Heesung.

It feels so stupid to be jealous of them yet Taehyung can't bring himself not to, not when Heesung brings out the most insecure and weak part of him.

"I do! I do, really. I told Jungkook to keep Heesung away from your life but it's just...Taehyung, I know he loves you, he is but-"

"But not enough! He doesn't love me enough to turn down all of Heesung's offers. I don't even believe that he loves me, I don't and no one can convince me otherwise!"

"T-"

"I don't want to talk about it. If he wants to say something then he should do it by himself, not send his dear mama in his place to play his advocate" Taehyung got himself off the bed and took his towel in hand.

"He didn't send me. I just wa-"

"Thank you so much for the painkiller but now, I need to take a shower, I have somewhere to go so no need to make lunch for me" Taehyung gritted out.

Today, he has to meet with Hoseok, his friend offered to go shopping with him and the Omega couldn't refuse such a great proposition.

"Alright, I'll leave you on your own" Mrs Jeon faintly smiled prior to exiting the room to let Taehyung have his peace of mind for a brief moment.

Taehyung stepped in the shower and undressed himself once she was away.

"So... did you two talk? How did it go?" Hoseok cautiously asked when Taehyung stepped out of the changing room with another outfit which by the way looked perfect on him.
