Catch me if you can - The Trickster x Reader

You had returned to the camp, more people had gathered around the campfire. Including your fellow survivors you were with. 
''Did you manage to escape?'' Nea demanded. 

''I managed.'' You replied. 

''Damn, his knives hurt like hell.'' Yui complained reaching for the areas of her back that were hit by the knives. 

''So tell me about this killer. I didn't get a good look at him, but I did hear his voice.'' You asked. 

''The best person to ask about him is Yun-Jin.'' Yoichi gestured in the direction of the stylish purple haired girl. ''She knew him from his past life.''

''Thank you.'' You nodded and headed over to where Yun-Jin sat.

''Yun-Jin...Isn't it.'' You asked making sure I got her name right.

''That's right.'' She nodded. 

''Mind if I sit with you? I have some questions about a killer.'' You began. 

''I'm guessing it's The Trickster you are asking about.'' She raised an eyebrow, I nodded in response. ''Have a seat, I will tell you everything.'' She patted on the space on the log next to her.

''Thank you'' As You sat down next to her.

''His name is Ji-Woon Hak. He was a famous Korean Pop Idol, adored by millions. Of course most idols have egos but nothing like him. After his band member were killed in a fire, his music changed.'' She paused. ''He would kidnap people and record their screams, screams of pain and torture.''

''Was he found out about?'' You asked.

''Almost, but the situation made it seem like he was the victim.'' She replied. 

''How is that even possible?'' You confused. 

''He kidnapped a person, leaving a trail behind. Seems like he intentionally let the victim loose but instead of him running away. He decided to fight back. Even took Ji-Woon's knife. When the police arrived the real victim was shot as he appeared to be the suspect.'' 

''That is totally messed up!'' You replied.

''Very much so. Not only that, after that incident, I confronted him. He admitted but before anything could be done... we were sent here.'' 

''That must have been hard.'' You tried to sympathise with her.

''The amount of times he has murdered me over and over again is a nightmare. I remember the good times before when he was just starting out. He had a bright future ahead of him'' It seems like she was punishing herself for the way things turn out. 

''You can't blame yourself for the decisions people make. It is up to them to make those choices not anyone else.'' You reassured her. 

''Thank you.'' 

''He seems like he has a bit temper'' You thought aloud. 

''When things don't go his way...he gets frustated and will not stop until something is done about it.'' She told you.

''Good  to know. I think I'm gonna have a bit of fun then.'' You smirked knowing how much of a pain you are going to be for him.

''Just don't do anything stupid.'' She requested. 

''I won't'' You got up and headed over to Ace. Someone with a skill that you  were sure would be useful. 

You approached Ace who was talking to a few other survivors. 

''Hey Ace. I have something to ask of you.'' You started.

''And what would that be.'' He raised an eyebrow.

''Can you teach me that skill with the lockers? I would find it useful in future trials.'' You requested.

''What's in it for me?'' He asked, you stood there for a moment thinking about it. Of course he would want something in return, it's Ace.

''I will teach you my skill, Onigokko.'' I offered. ''When you are being chased you get a speed boost after a while. Makes it easier to escape.'' You explained. He thought about it for a moment. 

''Deal.'' He out out his hand and we shook on it.

After a while you had finally gotten used to Ace's party trick for your future trial especially aimed a specific killer to drive him crazier. You would become the ultimate troll. But there was one thing that you needed as well, the skill that let your scratch mark to disappear quickly. You were told generic perks would be taught by the entity at the Blood Web. 

You approached the Blood web, the skills, offering and tools displayed upon it. You weren't sure how many webs you would need to go through to get what you wanted but eventually you go there. Maybe the entity was happy with your performance so far which could result in you being put in more trials. Which could be good use for practice of what you would pull off.

''What are you doing?'' A voice surprised you. You turned to see it was Cheryl. 

''Oh! Hey Cheryl. I'm just trying to get a new skill.'' You explained. 

''Anything in particular?'' She asked.

''The one that doesn't leave scratch marks for too long.'' You replied. 

''Oh that one! It can be useful. You may not get it straight away so don't focus too much on the bloodweb okay? It will appear soon enough.'' She patted your shoulder. 

''Thanks.'' You smiled. ''I think I may need a break from this then.'' You turned away from the table to return with Cheryl to the camp. 

--------------------Meanwhile------------------

Ji-Woon had not long been back from his trial, still frustrated with the unknown survivor. It would be muttering under his breath, kicking the dirt even throw a knife as he paced around. He asked before about the new survivor but not even the ones that had gone against them had gotten much information. They were definitely a mystery. 

A certain Ghostface had noticed how the usually happy-go-lucky idol was acting and decided to confront him about it as much as it amused him. As he began to approach Ji-Woon, a knife flew past him, just missing his head. 

''What do you want Danny?'' Ji-Woon spoke in a annoyed tone. 

''What wrong with you? You haven't acted this way in a while. What gives?'' Danny questioned him. Danny could be the only person that could figure this survivor. A smirk came to his face. 

''I have a favour to ask you.'' Ji-Woon requested. 

''What is it?'' 

''There's a new survivor... They are a mystery. No killer seems to know about them but you are the only one who can get close to them.'' He informed 

''Oh, I see. And what is you intention with that information.'' Danny chuckled. 

''Easy, to get ahead of them and kill them myself in the most eventful way possible.'' Ji-woon laughed out of excitement. 

''You really know what I like to hear, Ji-Woon.'' Danny continued to smile through his mask. ''You have a deal, my friend.'' He agreed.
