15. "We're so busted"

I know I know the US c'mon Jude, really not the ideal place but I wanted to see all the lights and all the beautiful sights. I considered going to Spain but of course the media would always have something to say, and after sort of clearing the issues I really didn't want to cause more.

It's true that the United States is also going to the World Cup but I don't think I'd be running into Pulisic anytime soon so it was the safest bet.

I booked my flights 2 nights ago and I leave tonight. I already have everything packed I just need a few more items then I'm off to the airport.

Dudeeee, I hate this sm. Coach is being so hard on us and I need a break. I'm going on a vacation, I could care less what coach says I need the time. Portugal is so hot and I'd like to go somewhere where the weather is cooler but not freezing as of right now.

That's when it hit me. New York baby!

I immediately started packing when I received a text from one of the senior players. Cristiano Ronaldo. He was just letting me know we have extra early practice tomorrow, I left him on read oops.

Nah for real he is a senior player. I know for a fact he doesn't have as much endurance as he used to, I could bet so much money that coach won't let him play a single full game this World Cup. Which in my opinion is waste of a player, he might be old but he's one of the best. One of the best, not The Best.

I booked my flight which leaves tomorrow at 1pm it's currently 11pm at night. Once I finish packing my bags I'm going to sleep, I'm so tired bro.

I can't wait to go to New York City!!!

I just woke up and it's 4am

-Levantense
(Wake up) I tell the boys

-"5 minutos masss"
(5 more minutesss) says Pedri

-"Tengo sueñoo"
(I'm sleepyyyyy) Gavi says whining

-Ya niños que tenemos 3 horas para alistarnos!
(Come on kids, we have 3 hours to get ready!)

-"Solo necesitamos 1 hora"
(We just need 1 hour) Gavi tells me

-"Pesada,vente a dormir."
(Hard head, come to sleep) Pedri says

-Yo ya me levante, no es mi problema si les deja el avion.
(I'm already up, it's not my problem if the airplane leaves y'all.)

-"Nooooooo" Gavi pouts

-Adios chicos que me voy a cambiar.
(Bye guys I'm going to change.) I tell them

I decide to wear something comfy and warm because when we get to New York it's not going to be hot. I settle for joggers and a top.
