SIX SIX SIX
ઇ : y/n slung midoriya's hand over her head and placed it on the side of her car for him to use as support. she unlocked her car and set the food in her passenger seat before unlocking the back door.
"hold on," she said, stopping him from entering her car as she took her coat off and laid it over her seats before gesturing for the male to get inside. midoriya cocked a brow and a look towards her as if questioning her actions.
y/n sent a raised brow of her own, "what? i just washed my car okay. now get in." midoriya obliged with a huff as he carefully positioned himself onto his side on both seats with a grunt.
as soon as y/n was sure he was comfortable she closed the door and took her place in the drivers seat before turning on her car. "how are you feeling at the moment?" y/n questioned as she adjusted her rear view mirror to be able to see the male.
midoriya let out a breathless chuckle as he carefully got onto his back, "like i got my shit rocked," he simply said as he rested the back of his hand on his forehead. y/n sighed as she pulled out of her parking spot, "alright, we're going to the hospital."
midoriya's eyes widened as he felt his chest tighten. his adrenaline quickly kicking in as he lifted himself off of the seats, "no, no hospital." as the woman stopped at a red light she looked over her shoulder with a questioning look.
"what do you mean no hospital. midoriya, your sweater is practically a whole new color right now." the freckled male shifted his gaze towards the floor as he attempted to come up with a good reason to contradict his real reason for rejecting a trip to the hospital.
"i just don't need the hospital bills right now— the truth is i'm behind on rent," y/n furrowed her brows as she turned her attention back to the street light that had simultaneously turned green. 'that's such bullshit,' the two continued their drive in brief silence until y/n voiced a thought out loud.
"midoriya are you some criminal master mind running from the feds?" midoriya furrowed his brows at her outlandish thought , "what? no, I just told you i'm behind with rent is all."
y/n chuckled, "are you drunk?" the male scoffed as he gazed out the window, "no, why?"
"because you just gave a whole load of bull shit twice," the woman stated as she took a right turn. midoriya stayed silent, "listen, i won't pry any further on why you don't want to go to the hospital-"
y/n pulled into her parking spot infront of her condo before turning her car off, "but i can't necessarily leave you like this either." midoriya sighed, defeated as he tiredly slumped his head onto the side of the window while y/n stepped out of the car.
