Lover (MikeyWay x Reader)

Y/N POV

I woke up to me and Mikey cuddling each other. He was so warm and comfortable. I grab my phone and take a photo of us since he looked so cute asleep. After a few minutes, I slip out of his arms and go get dressed for school. I put on my black pants and a tight black long-sleeved shirt that showed a little bit of my stomach and shoulders . I go to my bathroom to wash my face, then I brush my teeth and hair. I put on my shoes, then go downstairs to check if anyone has woken up yet. Gerard and Ray were up. I ask them to wake Frank and Mikey,  so I can finish my homework. I grab my backpack and take out yesterday's work. I usually finish it in school, but yesterday was very eventful. In about 30 minutes I was done. Everyone was ready for school so we decided to go to Starbucks since there was half an hour until it started. We ordered our coffee and walked back to the campus. Me and Mikey had art first, so we say goodbye to the rest of our group and walk to class.

We arrive at the classroom right before the bell rings. Everyone stops their conversation and looks up at us. How embarrassing. We take a seat near the back and after a few minutes, Mikey takes my hand and holds it. He's too cute.

Mikey POV:
These past few days I've felt needy with Y/N. I just want to hold her in my arms all the time. I don't know why. I push my chair closer to hers and take her hand. I can't wait to go to prom tomorrow. I wonder what her dress looks like. I look around the room out of boredom and realize Austin is staring at Y/N. I know he likes her, which makes me mad. He makes eye contact with me and gives me a dirty look. I just smile and pay attention to the teacher. Y/N likes me back, not him.

after school

Y/N and I wanted to spend time with each other today. We decide to spend most of the day at the arcade. It was a lot of fun, but it was getting late and I didn't want to leave her yet. We go back to my house and watch a movie together. I heat some pasta in the microwave, since I remembered her mentioning it was her favorite food. She puts on a movie and we eat our food. I get up the courage to tell her what I've been wanting to do all day.

"Y/N..?" I ask trying to get her attention.

"Yea?" She asks, turning her head to face me.

"Okay. So.. you know I trust you right? Like a lot." I say

"Yeah..?" She says, sounding kind of worried

"I know you can make decisions for yourself, but I want you to be careful around Austin. I know he likes you, but he's not gentle. He might try to hurt you if you reject him. Please just promise me you'll try to stay far away from him." I manage to say.

"I promise." She says and turns back to watch the movie, then wraps her arm around my waist. She understands what Austin did to me and how deep down I am still scared of him. After the movie ends I walk Y/N back to her house. Even though we've only known each other for a month, I know that I love her a lot. She means so much to me and I don't want anyone to hurt her. We say goodbye and I walk back home.

Y/N's POV:

After Mikey left, I felt lonely. I'm becoming attached to him. When we're together everything feels right. I pull out my phone and open our messages. Gosh, this is so embarrassing

me: mikes....

littledude: y/n....

me: do u want 2 have a sleepover...

littledude: aww u miss me already

me: maybe

littledude: yea i'll be over soon <33

me: ☺️ <33

I love him so much.

I walk downstairs and wait by the door for Mikey. The doorbell rings and I open it. He walks in, then shuts the door and smiles. It was super late and we were both really tired. Mikey changes into the pajamas that he brought and comes to my bedroom.

"Y/N, did you want me to sleep on the floor or with you?" He asks.

"You can sleep right here," I say tiredly and pat the spot beside me. He lays next to me on my bed and I put my blanket over him. He shifts around for a few seconds to get comfortable, then wraps his arms around me. I hug his waist and we both quickly fall asleep.

Mike POV

Today was the prom, and for once I was excited. This was the first time that I went with someone.

I got out of bed, and walked to Y/N's bathroom. I take my toothbrush out of my bag and brush my teeth. I then take off my shirt and go to get the one from my bag, but then the door opens and
Y/N walked in and splashed water on her face. She looks back up into the mirror and notices me. Red spreads across her face and she laughs softly and says "Sorry.." then leaves the bathroom. I put on my shirt, then everything else. I walk out of the bathroom, then Y/N and I walk to school. It was really cold so we stayed close to each other. Suddenly a car pulled up beside us.

"Eww!  Ugly emo bitch!" The girl yells, then her friends laugh.

Y/N just laughs and gives them the finger. They drive off, disappointed that she didn't give them a strong reaction. We make it to school shivering and walking extremely close together trying to keep each other warm.

Y/N POV
Our group walks up to us at the entrance and Gerard says "Mikey! Where the hell were you last night?"

"I was with Y/N." Mikey says still shivering. Frank gives me a suspicious look and I just shake my head no assuming he had a non family friendly question. The bell was ringing soon, so we went our separate ways.

Sadly none of my friends were in this class. I pull out my sketchbook and start drawing random things all over the page. Suddenly my book is snatched out of my hands by someone. I could tell who it was by the way I almost passed out from the smell of perfume.

"What's the loser drawing?" Stacy asks while looking through my book. I knew she couldn't even insult me by it since my drawings were good.

"Are you done now?" I ask sounding unamused.

She rips the book in half and starts to walk off.

"Stacy I have a question for you." I say and she turns around.

"Why are you so intimidated by me? If i'm so 'ugly' then you wouldn't have to act so jealous." She just stood there not knowing what to say.

"You're really pretty. If this is about Austin, you can totally pull someone better than him. He's a bully, I don't know why you like him so much." I add.

I could tell she felt bad. Her expression looked like she wanted to say something but couldn't. The bell rang and she walked back to her seat. The teacher walked in and began the lesson.

time skip to lunch

Mikey and I just got out of art head to the outside of the classroom. Everyone was there already and they started up a conversation. Suddenly, I get a notification on my phone.

I was in the wrong so I need to apologize. I'm sorry about my friends and I constantly making fun of you. the reason i did that, and encouraged them to was because i thought you liked austin. i know he likes you, and there's nothing i can do about that. i was jealous, but it wasn't fair for what i did. im sorry

me: that's okay stacy. i know what it's like to feel jealous.

i reply and put my phone down, and lie my head down on Mikeys shoulder. He was so warm.
