Issac: I'll be at your house in fifteen.

Luna looked at her phone with a curious expression on her face. She looked at the time: 7:23 AM. The girl typed back a hasty reply.

Luna: Why?

Issac: For school :)

Luna looked at the screen with wide eyes. She hadn't been to school in months. What would people think when she randomly showed up after not being there for most of the term? She shook her head.

Luna: No thanks!

She waited for the reply. She set her phone back down on her dresser as she continued to write in her journal. Seconds later, she heard her phone vibrating.

She picked it up, "Hello?"

Issac was on the other side of the line, "Luna..."

"Yes?"

"You're going to school."

"No I'm not." She told him.

"Yes you are."

The tan girl rolled her eyes, "You can't make me."

"Luna, come on, just give it a try. I promise it won't be as bad as you think it is." He told her, "At least go for one class. Then, if you decide you want to go home after, I'll take you myself."

The girl thought for a moment, "I'm already so behind, I won't even be able to catch up. There's no point in me even going."

"I'll help you."

She sighed, "Fine... You win."

Issac grinned, "Yes! I'll see you soon then."

"See you soon."

With that, Luna hung up the phone. She let out a deep groan before standing up and hurrying to her closet. She sorted through all of her clothes, trying to find something that wasn't sweatpants or stained with motorbike oil.

Finally, she found a green sweater and a pair of blank jeans.

"You'll have to do..." She mumbled.

"Luna... You're up early." Billy said when he saw his daughter walk into the kitchen.

Luna looked at her dad, smiling softly, "Yeah I um- I'm going to school today."

Her father placed the newspaper down and looked at her with shock, "Wow- that's great. What made you decide you wanted to go today?"

"Just a friend I've been hanging out with." She shrugged.

"Just a friend?" Billy repeated, "It wouldn't be the Robert's boy who was over here the other day, would it?"
