Blue Hour | Yeongyu

The busy streets were filled with people walking, cars, buses, kids too. It was 8 pm at the moment and everyone were either going back home to their families, some were going to clubs, some were going to some kinds of parties or other events. The sounds of cars and talking was all over Seoul. The wind of August was swaying in the air, the sky covered in a blue, purple, pink and yellow color, as well as the fluffy clouds that wandered over the whole sky. The sound of water softly running consumed the silence in the park, the slight tree shaking making anybody fall for the lure of nature. The noise of cars and other things were distant, but never stopping.

Beomgyu was sitting by the river of a park, looking at the sunset while sitting on the ground. He didn't dress up a lot, just a pair of black shorts, some white converse with white long socks and a pastel blue hoodie. His hair being pushed back at the soft wind, making the hair stop falling on his face. There were some people at the park, but not a lot as the male didn't even acknowledge them at all, lost in his head and lost in his mind. It was relaxing. He didn't think of anything, his brain blank. He smiled at the sunset, his fingers playing with the hoodies sleeves.

You may ask, so what happened? Did he face Yeonjun again? Was he back home? Did everything turn out okay? Well, nothing changed. Beomgyu went back to the old university, he told about his some kind of crush and love to Hyunjin who was there for him, making him feel better. He still remembers how he cried in his arms, Hyunjin only gliding his fingers through his hair as he stuttered out the one name he so much now hated.

Yeonjun. Yeonjun left him, Yeonjun didn't even talk to him once, but he probably will never talk to him again. He chose a pretty girl after taking away his virginity and making him believe, that this was love. But at the end, here he was, no Yeonjun by his side and no love at all. After the whole mess, Beomgyu stayed in his room for a month until his mom got him out with the help of Hyunjin of course. At first, he was really hopeless, thinking a person like him didn't even deserve to take someone's time, but with the help of loved ones, he was back to being himself. He finished his studies, got a job and now is happy with his life. He even started to meet up with new people, Hyunjin's advice. He met this guy named Jeongin who was a really fun friend and all kinds of other people. He was happy, may he say, but at the end of the day, his heart still can't seem to get over.

Was it bad? No, no it wasn't. But it was so stupid of him now.

Just then he heard laughing. His head turned to the side to see the source of the sound. But what he saw shocked him. Four men, four people, one had blue hair, one had blonde and the two other's had black. They all seemed tall, but what made Beomgyu gulp was the resemblance. The resemblance of them. They were all walking down a path as chatter filled the air. Beomgyu's eyes shined, small little crystals appearing in the corners of his eyes. He turned his head back as the thoughts came crashing down. But they don't remember him, so what's the point?

The male looked down, feeling tears stain his cheeks, but he didn't pay mind. His whole body slowly started shaking, maybe because it was pretty chilly outside, but the male just pulled his knees closer to his chest and wrapped his arms around them. The male slowly heard as the talking and laughter started to slowly disappear. He slowly looked up to see the male's maybe ten feet away from him, going further, and further, and further. Soon Beomgyu looked away and looked at the running water, the sun was half way already set and Beomgyu looked at his phone at the time and looked up at the sky. He needed to go, Hyunjin and his parents must be worried as he hasn't answered in 5 hours. Just as the boy sighed, he looked at the sky once more, smiling and then looking down.
