Chikyu, the girl that previously wanted to kill both Tomura and Sakura, was kicking a rock around on the bridge. Her teammates were sitting nearby, just staring into nothingness (probably questioning every life choice up until this point) .
"I say we ditch them." Ruma admitted without hesitation.
Sogeki (better known as scar-man), just sighed.
"We can't just do that. Even if he wasn't the guy we know he is, we've already seen his power. We won't even get off the bridge alive if we attempt to flee."
Humba, the boy nicknamed bun-boy, was staring at his hands mournfully.
"What's even the point?" He stood up and pointed at Tomura who was across the bridge.
"If he's half as good as Dabi-sama says, we'd be dead if we run or fight. I say we just follow along until we get further orders from base."
"Oi Meatheads, what's taking you so long?! I've been waiting for that sandwich for centuries now!" Sakura appeared from behind a bundle of wooden crates.
The "legendary" squad cowered under the girl's fiery gaze.
As you might have imagined, Sakura has completely taken advantage of their sworn allegiance to her. Making them do her chores while she gets to kick back and relax.
"If I don't get that sandwich special pronto... somebody might die." She cracked her knuckles.
Just a little way down the bridge, Hazuna and Tomura watched a teeth-grit Sakura chase the squad around as they pleaded for mercy.
Tazuna didn't miss how Tomura smiled warmly as the pink-haired kunoichi ran.
"You, my friend, have caught a bit of the love bug." Tazuna said wisely, chiselling at a brick.
Tomura had to raise an eyebrow. He decided to humour the old man.
"What's that?"
Tazuna chuckled to himself. Tomura gave no indication of irritation.
"Ah, young love."
Tomura shook his head. "I thought I was crazy." The old man's face grew red in anger. "Hey, who you callin crazy?! Treat your elders with some respect!" He started furiously carving the wood that would become part of the frame.
Tomura, unfazed by the talk, just stared at the back of the guy's head. Unimpressed.
"You do know she's younger than me right? By like three years."
Tazuna stopped carving, wiping the sweat off his forehead, before chuckling. "Age is just a number." He said, as though he'd just given the most wise advice that Tomura would ever get.
Tomura deadpanned. "And prison is just a place." He said to Tazuna, but the older man seemed to not hear him.
Guard duty didn't seem like it would be as fun as he thought it would be.
"Tomura-senpai!" Sakura suddenly called, knocking Tomura out of his stupor. He almost deadpanned even harder than before at the sight of Chikyu in Sakura's choke hold. The other three trying to calm her down.
Just as Ruma was approaching her from behind, Tomura seemingly teleported between them, giving the now sweating boy a blank stare. The pale-blueish haired boy turned to Sakura.
"Sakura, let her go." He spoke calmly, yet held a firm tone. Sakura widely shook her head, a stubborn frown on her face. "Nu-hu!" Chikyu, still in her grasp, was tapping at her elbow frantically.
