Always and Forever

The next day

Layla's POV
I have been home alone during the morning since Mr- and Mrs Andrews had to go to work, and Jasmine went out with her friends. I don't know where Asher went but he said he'd be back around this time. He asked me to get ready since he was taking me out. Apparently, he wants us to go out before he tells his family. I don't mind but I wish we could just stay here. That's Asher: he loves spoiling the people he loves.

In a way, I'm glad I slept in. I didn't have to answer questions from Jas and her mom. We plan on telling them later today.

Third person
Layla was sitting on the couch reading a book when she heard the front door open. She stood up and saw Asher at the door. Asher put his arms around her waist and she put hers around his neck. He gave her a peck on the lips.

Layla: I take it you came to pick me up for our date?
Asher: You guessed it!

They let go of each other and walked outside hand-in-hand. Asher opened the car door for her and then got into the driver's seat.

Layla: Where are we going?
Asher: Well, there's that amusement park you loved-
Layla: The one where I couldn't go on most of the rides because of my height at the time?
Asher: Yes, that one. So I thought we could go there. You've grown taller so you can definitely go on more rides.
Layla: Yay! Thank you Asher.

Asher smiled and caressed her knuckles. After driving for about 10 minutes, they reached the amusement park. Layla and Asher bought a bunch of tickets to spend on rides.

Layla: What do you wanna go on first?
Asher: You pick. Ladies first.
Layla: But I asked first.
Asher: I asked second and two is bigger then one.

Layla then softly kissed his lips, making him smile.

Layla: Choose a ride, please?

Asher sighed in defeat and picked a fast rollercoaster. When the rollercoaster stopped, the 2 of them paid the required amount of tickets and they sat in the middle of the rollercoaster. Asher could see that Layla was a bit nervous, so he brought her hand to his lips and kissed it.

Asher: It'll be fun, don't worry.

Layla nodded and soon, the rollercoaster started. It moved pretty fast and there were a few loops. Layla kept her eyes shut and tightly held onto Asher's arm, probably cutting off his blood circulation. When they reached the top of the drop, she opened her eyes.

Asher: Are you okay?
Layla: I will be when I get off.

The rollercoaster went down the drop and zoomed around on it's track. When the ride stopped, Layla jumped out feeling thrilled while Asher looked as scared as a puppy during a thunderstorm.

Layla: That was actually fun!
Asher: How can you say that when you were so scared to get on?
Layla: You got on so excited and look at you know.

Asher rolled his eyes. After he went back to normal, they went on a few more rides. After the sixth ride, they decided to get something to eat. They got burgers and sodas.

Layla: Those rides were a lot of fun.
Asher: Yeah! I'm glad you're having fun.

When they finished their food and drinks, they looked for a calmer thing to do. They decided to do this challenge thing where one person puts a sweet in their mouth and the other person must try to get it from them using their mouth.

Layla decided to put the sweet in her mouth as Asher tried to get it. His lips ended up a centimetre away from Layla's, almost as if he was teasing her. He then bit the sweet. They got to choose a prize since Asher had eaten most of the sweet. He chose a cute wolf teddybear for Layla to keep.
