" Hey, my fave cous! Why so serious, huh? Are you thinking of something?" I asked Ryujin.
" Just thinking the game later Unnie." She said, Nayeon quickly turned her attention to her sister.
" Game? What game Sis? And why you didn't tell me you have a game today?" the bunny asked.
" Nayeon Unnie, it is just a practice game I guess but Coach Lee calls it the 'Welcome game'," Ryujin said.
" Welcome game? What is that?" Nayeon asked.
I rolled my eyes mentally. Is it not obvious from the word 'welcome'?
" Yeah, it is my first time hearing that Coach Lee will hold a welcome game here," Sana said. Oh, that's why Nayeon doesn't have any idea of what that is.
Okay, maybe I'm just being a judgemental cousin here.
" You mention last week that there were 5 players who quit the basketball team, right?" Roseanne, my twinnie, asked.
" Maybe Coach Lee wanted to welcome the new players through a game" Jennie spoke, I nod agreeing with her.
" That is right Jennie Unnie. Coach Lee mentioned to us last week that there is already a replacement for the empty positions in the team." Ryujin said.
" I am curious-" I got cut off.
" As always" Nayeon tried to start a fight again but I ignored her. She can't ruin my day.
" To enter a basketball team, especially YG INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSTY's team will be a challenging and long process. To pass and enter the team will be a huge success already. So, why the other players are choosing to leave the team after working hard to be on the team?" I asked Ryujin out of my curiosity.
Right? They only wasted their hard work to enter the team and they will just give up and leave just like that? It makes no sense.
Ryujin sighed deeply." Honestly Unnie, I don't have any idea why they just left all of a sudden. A day before they officially resigned from the team there is no hint of them leaving the team. I mean I don't see any problem with them or at least with their behavior. I only got shocked when Coach Lee announced to the remaining players on the team that they leave the team for some personal reasons," Ryujin explained.
" This is not the first time. Strange, right?" Irene spoke and chuckle. I don't know but I heard in her voice that she is pointing at something.
" It's thrice already to be exact," Roseanne said.
Thrice? Like the same situation?
I am about to ask again because I am really curious but the campus speaker suddenly steals my chance to speak.
