Harley didn't take long to get to the abandoned hospital. It wasn't the best idea to walk, but she preferred it over driving, which could have alerted the walkers in the area. The sight of the building sent shivers down her spine. It looked like something out of a horror film. The structure was tall, perhaps seven floors tall, with more windows than she could count. The flickering lights in a handful of windows added to the creepiness.

She came closer, moving between the stalled automobiles, keeping low enough to avoid being spotted. She could hear the growling of walkers as she approached closer. She came to a halt next to one of the cars and carefully peered over, but the moment she looked over to the entrance, her eyes opened like saucers, and she threw herself back down in a crouching posture.

The area was swarming with walkers.

There was no way she could make it through those doors alive, let alone inside the building. If the outside was this terrible, she couldn't fathom what it would be like on the inside.

How in the world was she supposed to go inside without getting killed? She didn't sign up for this; maybe some scavenging, but not an 'everything you can eat buffet Harley edition'. She carefully considered her alternatives.

Return to the farm and claim that the hospital was empty.

Or, like the badass she is, go inside the walker-infested hospital and acquire the goods they needed.

She reached her decision after some careful consideration, and without hesitation, she turned around and headed back to the farm.

"This shit isn't worth my life," Harley scoffed, shaking her head. She started walking away, mumbling 'I'm not a pussy' over and over again.

Her ranting came to an end when a rock was thrown at her head. She instantly ducked, avoiding it, and jerked her head around in surprise, looking for the culprit.

She was definitely acting like a badass right now, spinning in circles on the spot.

When no one was in sight, her brows furrowed in confusion. She was about to look away again when a whistle above her caught her attention. She followed the sound up to the hospital's side. She maneuvered herself closer, avoiding any walkers. She dropped herself by a burgundy automobile at the building's side and examined the windows.

A child was found in one of the smashed windows on the second floor.

"What the hell," Harley muttered. What was a kid doing here? She stared at the youngster and waved her arms in a 'what the heck' sort of way. When the toddler pointed below the window to a few containers heaped on top of each other, her glare turned into a look of disbelief. Was she some kind of freaking ninja?

"I'm not going to climb that. Whoever built that was obviously not very good at Jenga." She hissed quietly, attempting not to attract the notice of any walkers. The child did not respond and instead pointed more firmly toward the containers.

"Stop being a wuss and start climbing."

Harley looked at her with wide eyes. She pulled herself up from behind the car and began climbing the containers one by one, realizing she had no other option if she wanted to reach the medicine. When one wobbled, so did her feet, almost knocking her off balance each time. The higher she went, the more worried she became. What she didn't see was the amusement of the kid above her.

When she arrived at the broken window, she dragged herself through without looking back. She carefully lifted herself up from the ground, avoiding the shards of glass that scattered her palms. However, when she looked up, the child was nowhere to be seen. Harley huffed, rubbing her hands over her jeans to remove any dirt or glass. She took a peek around the room and realized she was in one of the patient rooms.
