Daryl's daughter

Julia's POV:

"HELP!" I yell. I limp through the gate into the base one of Carl's arms around my shoulder pulling him along with me, everyone comes rushing up to us crowding around us. "What happened Julia?" Rick asks skidding to his knees next to Carl and I. I sit down and pull Carl's head into my lap. "I took him to our favourite spot to tell him I was pregnant and he was so excited jumping up and down everything. Then a walker came up behind him and bit him on the shoulder, I'm sorry Rick" I exclaim through muffled tears. I pull Carl closet towards me and squeeze him not wanting to let him go, he was currently unconscious.

"Come on let's get him up and into the hut, quickly." Dad says grabbing Carl off my lap. Glenn garbs his legs and they pull him off to our hut. Rick watches as they walk Carl to the hut, and before he leaves he turns to me. "I'm sorry Rick I really am!" I say, he just nods his head and follows Glenn and Dad to the hut.

Once he's gone I turn to Maggie and she can tell I'm about to cry. She wraps me up in her arms and tries to calm me down as much as possible but I just keep breaking down even more. "Shh it's ok Jules, let it all out" Maggie says rubbing my back. "It's all my fault Maggie, if I never took him out there this would've never happened." I sob louder when Tara and Rosita come up to us and comfort me too. "Rick probably hates me now and Judith is gonna have to grow up without an older brother all because of me! She's gonna hate me" I tears don't stop coming everytime I talk they just flow out faster.

After awhile Glenn comes running up to us. "Julia, Carl's calling for you!" He puffs out of breath. I break lose out of Maggie's arms and run as fast as I can to our hut. I get there and see Carl laying there looking at the roof. He turns his head and sees me. "Julia..." I run to him and wrap myself up in his arms. "I'm so sorry Carl, this is all my fault!" I say. "It's not your fault my love you didn't know that this was going to happen!"  He replies. "I can't loose you Carl, not now. I can't raise this baby by myself!" I reply, I feel tears well up in my eyes. "I love you Julia, remember that" He says, I look at him and see him struggling to keep his eyes open. "I love you too Carl and I always will" I reply, I take his hand I kiss him one last time and with that his eyes close and I know that he's gonna start turning....
