Your POV:
His smile lit up a fire inside you. The willingness it radiated stirred the pool of excitement in your chest and you found yourself grinning back at him.
Instinctively, he moved towards you, his delicate fingers sneaking around your jaw to lift your gaze to his where his blue eyes awaited you, hungrily scanning your lips. He leaned in so close that his sweet breath fanned your cheeks.
"Some stress you'd like reduced maybe?" He smirked, although a totally different scene was playing in his head.
"Mhm." You sighed as he lifted your face a fraction up, squeezing a little at your answer. His pupils seemed almost black with lust now, mirroring his deep amusement.
"I thought so. I can help with that." He smirked.
You looked him once over, careful not to cut yourself on his sharp features.
"Do you trust me?" He hid a flicker of interest in his tone, it might have been real or just his attempt at making it seem real.
The smile that broke out on your face had him grinning as if he too knew what you were about to say.
"No."
"Good."
A moment of silence fell between you. He used it to examine the expression on your face and you used it to try to guess what he was thinking about.
"Do you have anything that is necessary to have with you all the time?" The smile fell from his face along with his hand previously on your jaw. You thought for a moment, not stepping out of his vanilla proximity, then shook your head.
"Then we are going. Come, there's not much time left." You were still trying to understand what he was doing but ended up blindly taking his outstretched hand.
...But you didn't trust him... You didn't.
The moment his skin met yours the now extremely familiar tickling sensation ran along your spine and in a blink, his hand was pulling you through a thick wall of green shimmering dust. As you stepped into the night air of what you assumed was still New York something occurred to you.
"Wait. What did you mean when you said there's not much time left?"
Glancing back at you, his hands already to himself, he furrowed his brows. "Stark was coming. Didn't you hear?"
Oh.
Having a better grasp at what he was trying to do you understood why he wouldn't have been the best interruption but what creased your brows as well was that you did not hear him approach.
"How did you know he was coming? Is your hearing also super sensitive or what just happened?" You still stood there as he left you, your brain now working overtime.
He was kidnapping you.
No. Then why would he ask if you needed any of your stuff?
He must have been kidnapping you because there was no other sane explanation.
"I heard his thoughts approach." He clarified, almost as if he was reading your thoughts. "They are quite loud. Hard to miss."
So he just confirmed it. Brilliant!
"So you can-"
"Yes."
"But can you-"
"No."
"Why?"
"I have yet to find that out."
You took a deep breath, not to calm yourself, rather to just fill your lungs with something.
