Y/N'S POV:

I was in the cafeteria minding my own business eating by myself at a table when it happened...

"Hey y/n" Jessica and her little hairspray posse walk up to me smiling evilly

"What do you want now Jessica?" I ask the girl annoyed since I knew that whenever she talks to me I just end up hurt.

"Aww am I not able to ask how my dear friend is?"She smirks

"We're not friends"

"Oh too bad...well..maybe it's for the best, I probably shouldn't be seen with you anyways you know.. because you're a dyke and all." She laughed in my face and I went pale.

"Wait what?" I whip my head towards her

"Uh oh...she thought we wouldn't figure it out." She laughs "well maybe it's time for everyone to know the freak you really are'' she laughs" She says walking to the middle of the cafeteria standing on a table "CAN I PLEASE HAVE EVERYONE'S ATTENTION" She yells with a sly expression on her face as everyone brought their attentions towards her  "I just wanted to tell you all a secret that y/n l/n has been keeping from us! You know y/n...quiet..weird, well she has a fact that makes her even more freaky...SHE'S A DYKE!" She laughs and soon the room starts to join her in laughter as they look at me.

"No that's not true" I try to say but Jessica cuts me off"

"Oh honey but it is true! Don't go around leaving your shit on the desk where everyone can see'' She brings out my math notebook and turns to a page.

"See right here" She point to a page "Looks like y/n here couldn't pay attention to her math class since she was to busy writing about Amber'' The page had a little entry from me being bored in class and just writing my thoughts "Class is boring so i'm stuck in my own thoughts but maybe writing them out will help. I can't concentrate with Amber Lu sitting right next to me. She has the most beautiful hair and eyes I've ever seen but I can't tell her that since it would be weird. It would be bad if she knew I liked girls the same way I like guys." Jessica read the text out loud, closing the book after she read it.

I look around the room seeing most of the kids laughing at me or giving me grossed out faces. Some like Eddie's table gave me a look of pity and oddly enough Chrissy from the cheerleading team wasn't laughing along with the rest of the team but that brought me no comfort since almost all the cafeteria still judged me.

My attention was brought to Jessica again when she called out a name.

"Amber? Amber Lu are you here?" Jessica asks and suddenly students looked around trying to spot her. Some in the crowd pointed her out and they made way for her to step forward.

"Amber how do you feel about y/n here having a thing for you." She said and it was quiet. My heart was beating out of my chest from pure embarrassment.

"I think it's gross, I didn't even know who she was until now" She laughs while everyone once again joins her.

My heart broke at that moment and I felt tears start to run down my face and my legs went on auto pilot running out of the cafeteria. As I ran out I heard everyone's comments as I passed them.

"What a freak"

"Fucking loser"

"She probably watches the other girls change in the locker room"
