[ Jake's POV ]

I can feel Haileys steady heart beat as she lays against my chest, I hold her in my arms as we watch the movie (which she picked out). Around twenty minutes ago, Hailey's mom, Shannon had dropped some stuff over for a sleepover. 

But, Shannon did tell us that Zander was pretty "upset" and "disapproving" with Hailey staying over, but she managed to get Zander to at least be okay with it.. with the help of Luke obviously.

I hear the lock on the door click open, I grab the remote control and pause the movie, but I hold Hailey tighter to me and wait for Julie to come over to us, while Hailey just wonders why we aren't getting up to go greet her.

My older sister, Juliette (she goes by Julie or Jules) walks over to the couch, and looks over above us with a smile on her face, her hair is in an undercut, it's a coral color but it has some blonde highlights to add to it. She has Heterochromia, one of her eyes being the same wood brown as me and the other being a dull green. She's wearing army green jeans with a black crop top, along with a circular lesbian pin pinned to her crop top.

"Hello!" Julie greets, extending her hand to Hailey for her to grab

Hailey wriggles one of her hands out of my grasp and takes Julies hand. "Hi um..." Hailey ponders

"Oh, my names Juliette, but please, call me Julie or Jules." Julie says, shaking Haileys hand. Not giving a care in the world that we're cuddling and Hailey is laying on my chest

"Oh alright, my names Hailey" she says as Julie let's go of her hand

"Oh? So your the woman that Jake talks about so mu-" Julie starts with a smug smile inplanted on her face before I interrupt her

"S-shut up!" I stutter with my face red, Hailey giggles at me

"Pfft- alright sure, I'm thinking of getting take out, what do you guys want?" Julie asks us. After we tell us what we want she leaves to go to the actual restaurant to get us some food. She could've done it on the phone, but I think she wanted to leave us alone for a bit.

I unpause the movie, grabbing a blanket and wrapping it around Hailey as I bring her closer to me, her body against my chest

"So Princess~" I start talking to her, while playing with her hair

"Yes dork?" My princess says while looking up at me with a flustered face

"What do you think of Jules?" I asked her, continuing to play with her hair

"Oh, she seems fine." Hailey says, snuggling into my chest

"Good" I tell her as we continue to watch a movie

[ Time Skip - Nighttime ]

Hailey grabs her grey sleeping bag out of her backpack. She's wearing a fluffy, white pajama shirt with light pink shorts to go along with it. And black socks. Her turquoise hair cascades down her shoulders delicately

I stare at her, sitting up on my messy bed, with my shirt and black pants on. She doesn't need the sleeping bag.

"You don't need the sleeping back" I yawn tiredly as she whips her head around to look at me, her beautiful grey eyes look into my wood brown ones

"Okay? Where am I sleeping then?" She asks me sarcastically, rolling her eyes

"In my bed? Or do you just want to sleep in a sleeping bag and 'away' from me?" I tell her, using my fingers to make air quotes when I say "away"

Blush creeps up on Hailey's face at what I tell her, "Are you serious?" She asks me

"Yes, I'm serious, if I wasn't I wouldn't be telling you that." I say, looking back at her, her tan skin, her perfect turquoise hair, her beautiful grey eyes that I always find myself getting lost in.

She puts her sleeping bag back in the backpack and walks over to me, plopping herself next to me on the bed as I get up to turn off the lights

She tucks herself underneath the covers as I turn out the lights and walk back over to her. I make my way under the covers with her, my hand snakes around her waist and pulls her closer to me as I put my face in her hair in comfort

We both shut our eyes and fall asleep, not knowing that in two days someone would figure this out.

Not just one person, three.
