I adjusted the last award on the shelf, stepping back to view my handy-work. It was on the wall right next to vinyl versions of both my albums, Hope World and Jack-in-the-Box, that Chaerin had surprised me with on my birthday.

"Woah, it looks super cool!" Chaerin exclaimed, wrapping her arms around my waist and snuggling her face into the crook of my arm.

"Of course it does, and it's going to look even better when you get your third award tonight," I grinned, pointing to her two Baeksang Arts Awards and the empty space I conveniently left next to them.

"Don't jinx it," she whined. "Blue Dragon is so prestigious and I'm against some of the best actresses. Winning Best New Actress for television and Best Supporting Actress were one thing. An amazing thing that I'm still mesmerized over. But then there's me trying to win Best Actress at the Blue Dragon Awards."

"You're going to do amazing, love. Your movie was a smash hit. And then you can show them up even more by clearing all the drama and film awards for your show and your movie," I hyped.

"Ugh, don't remind me. Look at your side compared to mine," she huffed.

"Hey, you just got your start, love. You've just barely been in the industry a year, give it some time. People know your talent," I said. "Plus, I know I'm making a big deal out of it, but awards don't dictate your capabilities and how good I know and you know you are."

She smiled, pressing her lips slowly against mine, "I know. I'm blessed to even be considered for an award. Being able to act is all I want anyway. The awards are just a nice plus."

She wrapped her arms around me, continuing our lazy morning kiss. She hummed a little, sending a nice warm thrum throughout my body.

"You know," she said pulling back. "I was checking the reaction to our letters to each other on the socials, and they seem to be having good responses. I'm glad we got to it before one of the media outlets did. And everyone is being so supportive. I guess we're public approved for our big entrance today."

I grinned, "I knew we had nothing to worry about." I kissed her again slowly, "Our relationship is out in the public, we just moved into our dream house, and our wall of achievements is about to fill up. I'd say we've done pretty well for ourselves, don't you?"

"Of course," she hummed.

Our life together was just starting but oh my was it off to a wonderful start. And it was only bound to get better. Trust me.

"Woah..." my jaw-dropped to the floor as Chaerin finally came out from her dressing room. She was in a big blue, layered ballgown that had sparkles. She looked like Cinderella, only better.

"Like it?" She smiled widely, giving it a little twirl.

"I like you in it. You're a princess even though I already knew that," I said.

She rolled her eyes, "Be serious. Does it look good?"

"I was being very serious. You look drop dead gorgeous. You always do. But yes, you are stunning, radiant, exquisite, ravishing, enchanting, should I keep going?" I grinned.

She blushed a little, "I get your point. Now you go change into your suit. We can match."

She was insistent on us matching despite my protests that I wanted her to shine in her color. Aside from the fact that the attention should always be on her anyway, there was really no need for me to be all sparkly. I wasn't up for any awards. Not for any other reason other than that I've been busy filming and haven't been in a movie in a while.
